What is being gay? (not good)
homoloveuality (from Ancient Greek ὁμός, meaning "same", and Latin loveus, meaning "love") is romantic attraction, loveual attraction or loveual behavior between members of the same love or gender. As an orientation, homoloveuality refers to "an enduring pattern of or disposition to experience loveual, affectionate, or romantic attractions" primarily or exclusively to people of the same love. "It also refers to an individual's sense of personal and social identity based on those attractions, behaviors expressing them, and membership in a community of others who share them."[1][2]
Along with biloveuality and heteroloveuality, homoloveuality is one of the three main categories of loveual orientation within the heteroloveual--homoloveual continuum.[1] There is no consensus among scientists about why a person develops a particular loveual orientation;[1] however, biologically-based theories for the cause of loveual orientation are favored by experts,[3] which point to genetic factors, the early uterine environment, or both in combination.[4] There is no substantive evidence which suggests parenting or early childhood experiences play a role when it comes to loveual orientation;[4] when it comes to same-love loveual behavior, shared or familial environment plays no role for men and minor role for women.[5] While some hold the view that homoloveual activity is unnatural,[6][7] research has shown that homoloveuality is an example of a normal and natural variation in human loveuality and is not in and of itself a source of negative psychological effects.[1][8] Most people experience little or no sense of choice about their loveual orientation.[1] There is insufficient evidence to support the use of psychological interventions to change loveual orientation.[9]
