where is ephi when u need himEphialtes got de-admined for a reason.
exactly, it's a two way street
More like being condescending, self-righteous and confident that you're always right.I may not be right, but the so-called "bashers" are usually wrong. Especially those who bash new players. By saying that you're wrong, how am I saying that I'm correct?
Usually users who've had a clean record and stay out of the bullstuff. Are you talking about these guys:?
Are you seriously trying to say that Kalphiter is only a 1-2 time problem user?Drama doesn't count; only things like cyber attacks, impersonation, spamming the forums, and causing measurable harm to players count. Kalphiter attacked RTB in order to defend himself. If RTB stopped attacking him, he would stop.
several respectable usersAs if the respectable users are not corrupt or misinformed. Since they're at the top of the ladder, they're believable, right?
clearly acting like an idiot?I guess your definition of acting like an idiot is not conforming to the community's opinions.
Either I'm misreading this, or hammereditor thinks he's being bullied by commun-it-ism.
persistent problem user ever hasSetro may be a long-time persistent problem user, but I only did a problem-user act once, and that was 8 months ago. The rest of my bad reputation is due to the association of Pacnet.
setro hasn't learned any lessonYes, Setro has not learned anything, as I recently realized. But the community needs to stop picking on "controversial" users (like Kalphiter and I) who have been problem users once or twice, but have made many contributions to the community. You guys never find any positivity in us. It's only the drama which stands out.
there are quite a few intelligent users hereYosher and you must be part of them. There are plenty of great, neutral users here who have made many add-ons and contributed to the community, but I'm targeting everybody who hangs around drama and/or likes to jump on bandwagons, in order to gain reputation.
but hes acting like a stupid smartass like jesI'm not trying to make myself look smarter; I'm only trying to point out how the community keeps picking on undesirables.
I wouldn't be surprised why anyone would hate you with the tone you bring forth.Because that tone was created by the community.
Jesus christ, if you stop acting like your better than us and stop acting like we're the ones at fault, maybe we wouldn't hate you so much.I've tried that 4 months ago and it didn't work out.
Meh, it would be more devastating to a little thorn like you to cut your internet service completely, so you would have to go out and find another and get banned from that one.I have never gotten banned from Verizon FiOS. Ephialtes is not as stupid as the community is, and that's a good thing. The community has a thirst for "devastating" undesirable players.
one more than the other because money is being put into it, and money does increase qualityWhat makes you think $ increases quality? Don't forget how much more stable Linux is than Windows.
3. why do you need the full os code to change a theme "better" or "more".If you want to change the desktop background, for example, it's as easy on Windows as it is on Linux. However, what if you want to do something more advanced such as a program embedded in the desktop background? Can you do this on a closed-source OS? Source code availability does not make customization more complicated, but it gives you access to advanced features if you are an expert.
he is using it as a title to flash around the meaning that its automatically better than closed sourceOpen-source is safer because the developers cannot hide any malware code inside, you can also learn programming from it, and you can modify it to add your own features. Open-source software is as good as proprietary, but it has these benefits.
I'm surprised why no one has reported you to your ISP...Because Ephialtes was smart enough to know that blocking a small HTTP DoS via a firewall is better than contacting an ISP. On the other hand, most of the forumers who bash me can't even differentiate a DoS from a DDoS.
wow dumbass you admitted to ddosing lolAs if this was the first time I admitted. I have apologized for the incident many times in the past. Also, don't forget how when Ephialtes admitted to a DoS, he escaped unpunished.
