Vertical height of bricks is weird.
1 plate = 0.4
1 stub = 1.2
The bricks snap to the grid anyway

from personal experience I know this isn't true

So shouldn't it be .8 and not .9?

Try expanding the canvas to 65x65 or expand it to the maximum of 75x75

or maybe the staticmap bedroom has different collisions...
no because some brick weren't loaded and they were out in the open...

Assuming the save has non-default bricks, it's because the save has bricks that you don't.
If it's an all-default build, I dunno.

It's completely default afaik.
