it's serendipitous that i decided to read through this thread tonight because mack and i were reminiscing about this moment no more than 45 minutes ago! i started working for the government not too long after i last posted in this thread. always nice to take a little trip down memory lane

decided to scroll through here and i am indeed still kicking around! just graduated college, looking for a job now

i still keep ties with some folks i met through this game, and it's astonishing to think that i've made what i expect to be life-long friends effectively playing legos on the internet. if kniaz happens to read this, playing on the bluzone server remains one of my favorite childhood/adolescent experiences

We do this like every 18 months or so, it was bound to pop up again.

What is this game again?
It's a tycoon game involving logistics and urban planning. It's a bit complicated. You can read more about it on Wikipedia.

Server hosted by TomTheGeek. Any issues or requests, just relay them through me.

Password: borrowedtime

Server start date is set to 1950, end date is 2050 at which point the server will automatically restart.
Vanilla, no mods, temperate climate map at 512x512.
Default rules for now; we may experiment with a change to smooth economy rules on the next restart.

Rules:

Don't be a richard. Don't grief, remove signs when asked, etc.
Excessive terraforming is discouraged unless it's within 5 years of restart date. Clear foothills and flatten terrain as needed, but use discretion.
Competition is encouraged, this is a free-market simulator after all. Just don't go overboard.

i use a sony a6000 equipped with either a 20mm 2.8 or 55-210mm 4.5-6, fits nicely in my satchel
