Some of you may remember that topic that was started back in 2009, involving the members of the forums, and a Garfield comic strip. I recently came upon it while reminiscing of my earlier years on the forums, and had many good laughs. Me and iMoriarty both laughed at this thread for about 15 minutes before realizing, "Hey, why not start another thread with another Garfield strip?" Well, this is it!

That's right, COMA is back to answer your questions after getting a three-week military upgrade and paint job.

FAQ

Q: Didn't you have another blog before this one with all the other posts on it? Yeah, what happened to that?
A: The answer is kind of embarrassing. After 3 weeks, I forgot which email I had registered it to, as well as the password. I could recover the password, but not my email, so I made a new account.

Q: Why is the header in 4 languages, and what are they?
A: The languages are Chinese (badly written), French, and Spanish. Why they're there is because I wanted to support multiculturalism. I'll create a new header later on.

Q: Why did COMA get an upgrade?
A: Ask him that, not me.

Q: Why is this FAQ here?
A: i dunno lol

Off Topic / Computer freezes about 15 to 20 minutes after startup

Yesterday, while I was talking to somebody on Skype, my computer froze. I couldn't move the mouse, or ACD. So I manually restarted. After doing so, about 15 minutes after it reached the desktop, it froze once more. I rebooted manually, but instead opened it in safe mode. I left it there for an hour without incident, so I restarted back into Windows. Get to the desktop, half an hour later I freeze once more. By this time, it's about 10:45, so I turn it off once more, thinking that my computer is just getting too hot. I leave it this way overnight, and when I wake up in the morning, I started it up so I could print out a school paper. For 15 minutes, it worked well. I left it idle so I could go brush my teeth and comb my hair for about 5 minutes. I come back so I could browse the forums, and once again, it's frozen. I shut it down, and left for school. I am posting this on the bus from my phone. I have run two full virus scans with Kaspersky. Any ideas?

I just exited out of Steam, and when I tried to restart it, it refuses to connect me.

Creativity / Comatose writes an Alphabetic poem about the internet!

Today, in Language Arts class, I found out I have to write poem for the school's literary fair.

It's due February 3^rd.

I wanted to write a poem about how the internet is like a living, thriving human. All parts have to work together, and such things like SOPA/PIPA can stop progress and start to shut down parts of the body. I was going to reference major sites on the internet, like Reddit, and Wikipedia, as major organs. If you guys could give me feedback on this idea, that'd be great. Also, give me new ideas. I will post progress in this thread as I go.

Things I will not talk about:
- The Blockland Forums: This site is best left unmentioned, and I don't want teachers looking it up and questioning me about it. All thoughts related to the forums in anyway will be ignored.
- 4chan, or more specifically, /b/: This is self-explanatory. Once again, all thoughts related will be ignored. No exceptions.

Off Topic / Bamboo tablet refuses to turn on when I plug it in.

I just tried plugging my Bamboo tablet in to draw a little bit, and when I did, the blue light blinked a couple times, then it shut off. I tried unplugging, then plugging it back in again. This time, the light stayed solid, but when I used the pen, the mouse cursor wouldn't move. I looked back down at it, to find that it was off again. I've emailed Wacom, and I'm in the process of redownloading drivers, but Wacom says that it'll take them 3 days to get back to me.

Can anybody help me out here?

Games / Having trouble purchasing merchandise on Steam.

I recently got 50 dollars and I've been attempting to buy the Valve Complete Pack. Everything was fine, until I clicked purchase. After a couple seconds, a message appeared.

An unexpected error has occurred. Your purchase has not been completed.

Thinking it was a one-time error, I tried once again, getting the same message. I tried with a credit card, and a debit card, as well as a Visa gift card; both the debit and Visa cards have sufficient funds for me to purchase what I want.

That was about 6 hours ago. I once again tried just a few minutes ago, to no avail.

Do you guys suggest I wait until about midnight to early dawn to make my purchases because the servers are overloaded?

Akinator, the Web Genius is an internet game based on Twenty Questions that can determine which character the player is thinking by asking him or her a series of questions. It is an Artificial Intelligence program that can find and learn the best questions to be asked to the player. Created by three French programmers in 2007, it became popular in November 2008, according to Google Trends. While playing "Akinator," the questions are asked by a genie. The game became famous in Europe in 2009 and Japan in 2010 with the launch of mobile apps by French mobile company SCIMOB,[1] reaching highest ranks on app store.

Off Topic / What would you define as the "black experience"?

As a project for my debate club, I have to argue who's teachings were closer to the Black experience; Martin Luther King Jr. or Malcolm X? The only problem is I cannot exactly find what the black experience means. If you could try, please give me a serious answer. I'd like to have this done as soon as possible.
