I don't find stories about dragons that original, or any other mythological creature for that matter. They all have a similar theme to me.

Do you really think that because I found a book to be boring and unoriginal in my opinion that I have a short attention span? I have other tastes in books, you know. Your interests and my interests are two different things.

I don't see why everyone was looking forward to this movie so much, nobody did it with Eragon and as far as I can tell it was a much better book

Eragon never interested me, and the first half was rather boring.

Also, I would recommend that the story not be two LONG chapters, but rather a couple chapters spread along two acts or parts.

One tip for you; keep your writing interesting and exciting. Not enough action leaves the reader bored, but too much of it makes it seem that you're trying too hard to keep your reader's focus. Try to experiment a bit.
