roughly 30% of donation money to IC makes it to these children. Versus around 90% of money given to the Red Cross or Unicef, making it to the people that need it.
They do some good stuff, which is nice, but it's a scam.
I for one would be fine with Saddam still being alive, but removed from power / thrown in prison as an example. Without the, you know, killing part.
By the way, only 30c in the dollar makes it anywhere near africa, and out of that much of it goes to various army's. Not really my idea of huge change.
Actually, bullstuff. The first time the US tried to attack him, he beheaded their special forces and killed over 1000 civilians in retaliation.
Then the entire countries army mobilised against him, but they tend to do this thing called "stealing"...oh and "raping" just as much as Kony's army did.
Then the USA sent in some troops when they found out Uganda's got oil, and Chinas been sending support into that region.
30c in every dollar gets to africa, and much of that goes to armies, not children.
So. Facts. Yes the "cause" is great, but IC is a load of horsestuffe.
