No, that's not how it works. He chooses to render and create his maps using the TF2 engine, but regardless what engine it uses, it'll still work in Gmod. You just might be missing textures and have LUA errors if you don't own the game that the engine that created the map utilizes.

The thing that I noticed is, that Eduardo was thinking little cupcake shops, but Sean Parker was thinking big with companies like Target or Wal-Mart. He took the risks that were needed to be taken for Facebook to be made a success.
