Off Topic / List some of the crazy stuff you've seen/done in multiplayer
« on: September 21, 2014, 03:58:05 PM »
Be it having a super-serious dialogue followed by yelling 'JK I HAVE A JETPACK' and jetting off, or setting everything on fire while being breifed on a mission, this thread is dedicated to those wacky moments in multiplayer.

My wackiest experience;

I was a firebending national socialist wearing a gas mask who got molested by a earth-based dragon in hollowed out bed of the Bedroom set.

Suggestions & Requests / Suggestion: ZB-47

What the forget is a ZB-47 you might ask?

This is a ZB-47.

I think it would be interesting to see someone try to make this monster into a addon, just for how janky that reload animation would be.

Off Topic / The paradox thread
« on: June 21, 2014, 04:49:06 PM »
Post 'ye paradox's here.

Lets say you have a boat made out of one hundred pieces of wood.
Every day you remove a piece and replace it, storing the old piece in a shed.
After a year, you've replaced every piece of wood.
You take all the old wood and build a ship.

Which is the original ship?

Off Topic / Post song lyrics you feel describe yourself

Title.

Then, tell us, in your opinion, how well does it describe the above user?

Example:
"I have a problem that I cannot explain,
I have no reason why it should have been so plain,
Have no questions but I sure have excuse,
I lack the reason why I should be so confused,

I know, how I feel when I'm around you,
I don't know, how I feel when I'm around you,
Around you,
"

If there be Zambies walking around, I want my grandfather's custom-made Kevlar Trenchcoat (Crazy old 'Nam vet. Dont ask.) Somewhere in his collection is a MP40. Find that stuff. Nine 'mils are common. Get the Kbar he used. Using the dying internet, download ilegal blueprints for silencers. Break into the walmart close to my home. Steal a hunting rifle. Steal all the ammo I can carry.
run over zombies with a shopping cart
High-tail it home, make sure my dog's okay, see if my parents are alive, and then read a book.

Whats YOUR plan?

Off Topic / The entrepreneur My Gun minithread
« on: April 27, 2014, 09:31:02 PM »
I failed to notice a thread for the lovely creations of entrepreneur  My Gun.
So I'm starting one.

http://entrepreneur mygun.doctornoob.com/

Here, allow me to start:

The CSP45 (Civilian Silent Pistol 45 caliber) is designed around the concept of giving one person rapid, quiet, controllable firepower. Based off the M16, the CSP45 is chambered in the .45 Caliber, with built in compressor, and is shipped with silencer. It is designed to be fired with one hand in case of emergency. The firearm is very quiet, capable of firing off three rounds with about the same noise as a gravel bouncing along a paved road. However, because of the cheap quality and mass-producing, this being one of a few RaC firearms designed for civilian use, the firearm is rather inaccurate, and is hell to get loaded and unloaded. Field-stripping is nigh impossible, do to usage of Alan bolts. The sights are decent. The stock is made of pure fiberglass and plastic, making it very unconformable to fire for extended periods of time. The silencer fails to operate after seventy shots. The internal compressor explodes after about two hundred rounds are fired, causing the gun to become louder, but slightly more accurate.

The original working title was the SCP45, standing for Silent Civilian Pistol .45 caliber. After copy-write disputes, RaC was forced to change it to the CSP45.

The GW-45 (Guerrilla Warfare, 45 caliber) is built with one thing in mind: fighting dirty. From the literal standpoint of the internals, capable of functioning during a sandstorm, to the fire-speed selection switch, allowing rapid fire, slower (but still fully automatic) fire, or single-shot, to the collapsing stock, to the fairly common round, the GW-45 is designed to fight dirty.

The bottom variant, the GW-50SV (Guerrilla Warfare, 50 Caliber Sniper Variant), is designed for mid-range sniping. The scope is adjustable, and the weapon has been up-scaled to fit the larger .50 caliber round. The metal and plastic the gun is designed from is also a darker shade of grey, allowing for basic camouflage.

Both are designed around rapid and dirty fighting. The GW-45 is your standard troop gun. The GW-50SV is your standard scout-sniper's weapon.

The GW-45 suffers from one major issue: Weight, or lackthereof. It is very light, coming in at 10 pounds (4 Kg) unloaded, and 18 pounds (8kg) loaded. On top of this, the lack of a rail leads to issues when attempting a flashlight mount, although that can be solved with duck tape and a flashlight.

The GW-50SV also suffers from the same issue, it feels much too light. Border-line cheap feeling, most scout-snipers will most likely feel afraid to use it, do to the cheap-feeling build quality and heavy round combination, leading to the rumor of the gun exploding when fired. 14lb (6kg 350.29g) unloaded, 23lb (10kg 432.62g) loaded.
