Why do people still buy 8000-9000 series cards from Nvidia anymore?  They have much better cards on the market for the same prices.

Actually it runs just fine without Procaster on.

Each 12V rail is 18 amps. That's stuffty.

So should I still get the one I planned on getting?

That's quite a bit to pay for a 9800, which are becoming outdated.

It's better than a NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nforce 430 which I have.

I'm open to suggestions tho. Something around $200, no more.

I'm getting this new video card and I have this computer. The page with my computer specs includes motherboard specs. I've changed the CPU to an AMD Athlon Dual Core 3.0GHz and added 2GB of RAM. I want to know if the graphics card will be compatible with the motherboard.
