Faces, Decals, Prints / Re: ACM's Decals (Newly added 08/08/2008)
« on: August 10, 2008, 04:44:42 PM »
It has been said earlier before in my old thread; the problem with making the necks transparent is that you don't get any skin tone underneath. Only the body colour.

The yellow necks I've given them are based on the stock medieval tunic decal, which also has a yellow neck.

These are all of the decals and faces I've released throughout Blockland's history. Now repackaged for use in v9.

In this thread I will be submitting all of my generic themed chest and face decals. Should I ever release more decals, I will be updating each decal pack respectively.

Newly added decals are: HawaiianShirt1, Hawaiian Shirt2, Plane, Shirt.

Drama / Re: We have a great community. forget you guys.
« on: August 06, 2008, 05:04:44 AM »
I do not agree with the sentiment of the original poster. I sincerely believe that a community doesn't need to be this grudge ridden and unfriendly in order to be funny or enjoyable in the slightest.

The fact that there are worse or less desirable communitys out there should be no excuse for this one to keep behaving the way that we currently do, and comparing ourselves to them, which also suggests that we are on their same level, is merely the mark of an underachiever. Instead we should be looking up towards other more well behaved communitys and try to emulate them.

Laremere has worded a point in a way that has only occurred to me now. People focus all of their energy on this forum on trivial subjects and personal conflicts when instead they could be productive, making constructive posts and content that would go towards making the Blockland forums a more pleasant experience for everyone.

Perhaps you enjoy the anarchy out of this, or you have your own axes to grind among here. But I do not, and I do not wish for a 'forgeted up family of forget-ups'.

Why are the better half of the definitions written here just horrible? or are extremely obvious things that everyone already knows about.

Hes talking present tense! LETS ALL BRING UP PAST TOPICS!
I genuinely believe the reason why people are still arguing over Roblox today is because of what started over a year and a half ago, as since then we've had non-stop topics about the subject. It was petty rivalry then and it's petty rivalry now. The thing is, I still remember that old topic like it happened yesterday.

I'm indifferent to when someone from Roblox's community decides to make a thread here, as this community is prone to arguing with each other and starting these arguments entirely on it's own anyway.

Is it just me, or does that link lead to a 404?

The general idea they have of Blockland is that it's community is built up of swearing teenagers
This community is built up of rude swearing teenagers, who constantly use cliché internet phrases in nearly every discussion, and this is coming from someone who's 100% on the Blockland side.

No its the opposite Blockland Hates roblox cause roblox hates blockland.
What a huge lie this is! If you were around these foums long enough to see this thread then you should've known that it was us who who made contact with them first.

The Roblox community may be horrible or not, I don't really know, and quite frankly I don't care. I never actually go to their site since I have no reason or purpose to, and I've never played the game before, so it's not like it matters to me. What I do know however is that Blockland's community can be horrible in it's own way, and are just as guilty for some of the things people accuse Roblox of. I swear people here develop such tunnel vision when it comes to rivalry subjects like these!

I've only saved the ones which I myself have contributed to, the hight street and another one. I don't know if they specifically still mean anything to you, but I've just uploaded them for you if it helps.

Sadly, the one I have of the high street is over a year old, and I've heard it's changed very much since.

That lincoln bot probably has to be the most badass thing I've seen made in Blockland yet.

I'm surprised that after so long v9 is still in the works, it means that I was able to work on and submit this.

The fire house reminds me of something off lego island.

half of the buildings in this take heavy influence from official lego sets, such as those that can be found on peeron.

That's pretty much where it came from because I was being an unoriginal tard and I wanted to fill that 64x64 space with something.
