i live in nova scotia. we've had what, 3 hurricanes heading straight for us and missing within the last 2-3 years? maybe even more

That's nine years too many.

Our last real hurricane was Wilma back in 2005, and all those following (which is 2) have both been bad rainstorms without wind. In fact yesterday was the 9th anniversary of Wilma's landfall: 6:30 AM in Naples.

This may sound loving crazy, but I want another hurricane, dammit. They're super loving cool.

im trying my hardest not to go mentally insane and scream "WHO GIVES A stuff" but does this really loving matter?
