This really irks me. Everyone is complaining about facial piercings, hats, hoodies, coats etc etc. School isn't the freaking cinema or the pub or your friends house, it's a formal facility meant for education. A certain degree of social etiquette must be followed and a dresscode upheld. You constantly hear bitching about how the school doesn't prepeare you for the real world, well maybe you just won't accept it. Proper manners and being accustomed to dressing smart when you represent yourself is one of the most important things. Degrees won't mean jack if you can't represent what they stand for in your attitude and clothing.

It's not about the posting frequency whatsoever, it's about the demographic. This board has the most people that know how to make torquescript modifications.. anywhere, really.

i think its more about mod makers thinking that their mod is not quality in some way or form
for some people if it isn't 100% perfect then it is not in a releasable state in their eyes

trust me i've had that feeling more than once about a particular mod of mine

Pretty much this was what I was getting at. I don't think they're too dumb to figure it out, if they have to even figure something out, it's not close enough to perfection.

In my experience, making add-ons ready to be used by anyone is the hardest part. All of my code is entirely console based, full of debug lines and uses constant ownership methods (my brickgroup for example). I assure you, I'm not keeping the things I make for myself out of greed, it would simply be too time consuming to make the code fool-proof and give it a logical interaction system (GUI). Like take the time I have spent working on it so far and match it at the very least.
