It's obviously made with a greater goal in mind than improving the status quo of either being in pressurized space ship or floating in space. Keep in mind, this is all meant to serve the grand goal of colonizing mars, which is likely going to require a suit that's more easy to move around with than in the traditional space suit and doesn't need to be as beefy.

It's not a performance issue, it's a style issue. You should make your model around the edges that define the blockland-style. It doesn't have to be the shape of a normal blockhead, it needs the signature blockiness. What you have is a very good model and an okay start to a blockland-style model, but it needs to be remade with that style in mind from the start.

It simply is limited for the purpose of events and only works for players. I would use setDatablock personally and use my own checks to make sure it's not loving up such as ensuring the object exists etc.

Edit: Oops didn't realize I bumped this by that much. Oh well, it's all reference for searches anyways.

This is something we’re trying to improve, the four of us have been pretty busy/inactive recently so getting more moderators is a good idea. Finding the right people is easier said than done though.

Maybe a report button that allows us look at a players recent messages and ban if needed would be a good addition to the service.

Figured out a neat way to turn AutoCAD drawings into reference images in Blender. You have to dig around for some suitable plans and after tinkering with it for a while in a CAD software with layers and measurements, export it as a dfx format and import it with a plugin. It's a bit of a procedure, but you get a snappable reference with accurate measurements. No more tracing out images. If anyone is interested I can walk them through the procedure a bit more, but its mainly just tinkering.
