It's done because it's funny, and it's about a typically morbid or taboo (what're the odds?) theme.
I probably shouldn't send you there, because you are clearly quite a sensitive sort, but go and search for sickipedia.
It's an online joke website dedicated to sick and dark, usually topical jokes, even tribal ones.
They're not there to get a response, they're there because people find it funny.
You have to learn to not be so sensitive all the time.
You always seem like one for equalities and liberal views. Well there's two sides to that coin. You've got to respect people wanting to break the taboo too.
