I thought this was the game where you build stuff

not the game where everything is built for you

no hate

I guess I could do some models.

What are we talking about? Hats and weapons? Bricks maybe?
I can model and texture (color the models, since it's Blockland) but I don't do well with exporting into DTS.
But if you're fine with it I could just send models in OBJ, 3DS, and such, for you to DTS-ify them yourself.

Here's a leftover :cookie:

I can get you the .obj if you like.

That would be nice, thanks.

I noticed something you may want to fix
From what I can see in the BLB you've made the brick in your 3D editor with triangular faces and not square faces.
Blockland doesn't like triangular faces on its bricks (it duplicates a vertex and places it in the same spot as the original, creating an odd quad)

I can make the 4 triangles of the very top of the pages into 2 squares, but the face-count would still be 102, so maybe you'd wanna half that by re-exporting the model. No rush.

Yes Leet, I know that, but as I stated; it's impossible to have two different prints on one brick, not two different sections of one print.
I know UV coords, thank you.

As for the print problem, I do have the brick editor but I never fully learned how to use it. As for the ratio, if I split it into 4 print for the covers, I might as well also make a leaning standing and overturned open book variant for the cover to be relevant.
However, wouldn't that look off? Having papery prints also carry to the cover?

I have experience with manual-brick-editing, also prints, i could modify your brick to have 2 of the same print on each page (one on print per page). Two different prints on the same brick is impossible.

What would be the chance of it happening if I asked for a rendered image of my blockhead doing something cool?
Because, Id want that for days.

What does your Blockland Avatar look like?

bricktop is rotated when the normals face up and brickbottomloop is rotated when the normals face down.

But if I modify the bottom faces' normals to face up won't that screw up the lighting?

I tried it and it only screws with lighting and shadows. And they still do not rotate properly

I have an issue with them though: the shading is not "rotating" on the bottom of the bricks.
Huh, I never noticed that, but you're right.
I looked into the BLBs and the bottom textures are rotated correctly like the top textures on the bricks.
It must be a bug, considering I used the brickTOP texture for both top and bottom, and maybe they don't auto-adjust correctly when
used upside down (or on any sides for that matter)

Edit: Must be a Blockland bug, something I can't fix

Those are only on squideeys textures, they have a white dot on them which is still reflective

Fixed, it was a collision-box bug, but it should be fixed on all 3 corner bricks, I also fixed some texture issues on the top and bottom of the bricks.
Just re-download the file.
