Someone has worked hard on Roblox, and have achieved their mission goal to make a sandbox game with a low age range.
Who cares if its for kids? That doesn't make it stuff.
I've never played Roblox, but from what I've heard from liable sources is that it is an easy to pick up game with good quality profanity filtering for kids. Obviously this isn't what 90% of Blockland wants, but that doesn't give you the right to bash on it.

Updated with a new screenshot. That's about all the time I have to work on it today. I really am losing inspiration as some of the buildings I've had to build like 2 or 3 times as I'm trying to get it exactly right

Are you worried about brick count as if someone adds all the builds together; it makes it pass 256k bricks.

The city really ISNT that detailed, I really think I can do this in less than 100k bricks.
The whole of the shire came to about 7k, and its super detailed!

All the buildings you make are on a 16x16 grid.
You should really try to make buildings which are more realistic and build more detailed floor plans of the basic shape of the buildings.
Its not hard to find pictures of real life power plans on the internet, Your buildings will improve greatly.


Other than this being horribly spammy, its also tiny as forget. Try to take into account the size of these, They're ATLEAST a 64x64 diameter. Remember that scene where Wolverine fights ontop of one of them in Xmen: Origins? Yeah that's the standard size of one.


This is what I mean about locking a build to a grid. this is an ugly boxy build and you should really try and spice it up a bit. Obviously its meant to look a little boxy but still, you could add so much to it which will make it look nicer.
Hazard posters for example could go on a blank side?

I'm not going to comment about the car showroom as it doesnt even look like anything right now, but if I could give you one tip to work on, its use real life pictures.

I know, but my mom is afraid of purchasing things online. My father thinks I do not need one because I already have 2 Steam purchases of Blockland. So mailing cash is my only option.

It's interesting to see how long it takes Badspot to give you your Blockland keys. Good luck. Once you get your product keys, can you tell us? I was interested in purchasing one (Steam authentication sucks).

You dont have to buy a key through steam.. You can get one from the website lol
