Waldo just confirmed that you all can use a client side cheat 1 time and not be kicked from playing.
I'm sure some of them knew this all along and already been using the advantage.

Maybe you should visit the server and see what actually happens when you cheat instead of making yourself look like a fool through your ignorance.

Overall we should have thought about the unregulated gambling aspect of it. We were so focused on the system and how it would work, that we completely overlooked the fact that this very well could be illegal and unethical. camel, sir dooble and Badspot are 100% correct here no matter how harmless it is.

Well I'm sorry some of you feel this way. We just thought it would be a fun thing to do with my server and have been planning this out for a while. We had zero intent to scam or steal anyone's money. Once again, I'm sorry. We should have looked into the rules for this kind of thing instead of going ahead and doing it.

I'd have no issue betting a lot of money as well, but most people on here are young 13-15 year olds who don't have money. Max bet of $5 would be nice though.

that's kinda dumb. betting on yourself gives you a reason to want to win. the way it is now, you could just put money on the opposing team and make sure you lose...

We're not allowing people to bet for or against themselves. This is more for the spectators rather than competitors, but competitors may bet on other games.

I work full time for a local race car driver. I basically work on cars, manage inventory and assist customers who come in to buy new/used parts.
