I hope they don't fix the Spy Crab next D:

This is what I was thinking when I saw that update.

Please oh please, leave the crab spy alone. I've walked in and grabbed the case more than once due to people simply watching me crab walk around (they start shooting when they realize that you are actually doing something but it's still funny how many times they don't.)

FTL travel is unrealistic.

Err, kinda, then again it would be really simple if we could fold 3rd dimensional space through the dimension above it. Hence the term "warp", as a broad term used for this type of thing. Of course warp travel is not actually moving faster then light, just bending space time.

take a piece of paper and bend it. Gratz you just folded a second dimensional space through the dimension above it (the 3rd, ours).

Remember when the internet was so new that you had to check the system requirements to see if Netscape navigator would run on your machine?

Had any of you played fallout 1 or 2 you'd know what death claws are and where they came from.

Try to remember that you've been playing fallout 3

It's amazing how many people forget that.

Dude. Are you badmouthing china for giving 4.2 million dollars to a country that does, correct me if I'm wrong, absolutely nothing for it?

We're talking about China here.

If you compare what they are giving against China's GNP then it is equal to me, reaching in my pocket and pulling out a handful of change. Then digging through that change and finding a penny, looking at it for a moment and putting it back and digging through my pocket again and finding a Canadian penny I got for change by mistake. Then cutting it in half with a pair of wire cutters, tossing it at a starving man and saying: "here sport, don't spend it all in one place". Then just as the half a penny is about to land in his hands, kicking him in the balls.

Yes, China is collectively run by a bunch of starfishs, however I'm an starfish but at least I try to hide it.

I have a friend in the air force who was stationed in Haiti for a time. They had a policy of "shoot anyone darker than khaki" if they weren't sporting an I.D. badge when entering any of the U.S. facilities.

They didn't have that policy without reason.

Also this:
Quote
Foreign aid makes up approximately 30–40% of the national government's budget. The largest donor is the United States – followed by Canada, and the European Union also contributes aid.[84] From 1990 to 2003, Haiti received more than $4 billion in aid. The United States alone had provided Haiti with 1.5 billion in aid. [85] Venezuela and Cuba also make various contributions to Haiti's economy, especially after alliances were renewed in 2006 and 2007. In January 2010, China promised $4.2 million for the quake-hit island,[86] and U.S. President Barack Obama pledged $100 million in assistance.[87] European Union nations promised more than 400 million euros ($616 million) in emergency aid and reconstruction funds for Haiti.[88]

Wow, really China? Thanks, you so generous, Haiti love you long time.

For those that don't know 4 million is enough to build a bridge, or a few buildings. So out of the thousands of structures in ruins, China has graciously stepped forward a offered to help rebuild "a few". Thanks for the pocket change china.

...and they are not pretty. While ruins of formerly standing buildings are everywhere there is one spot of wanted to check, as I was curious if I would see throngs of protesters at the gates.

The U.S. Embassy

There doesn't seem to be, there is however a very long line of people outside waiting to get in and inside the compound there are dozens of tents set up, that I assume are for injured folks and whatnot.

However, that's not what I am really curious about now. What I am wondering is: What must the average Haitian think, being from the poorest country in the world, seeing that not only do the Americans (that live right next door) have a nicely manicured lawns but a pool? The whole thing looks less like an embassy and more like a resort.
