Why are there lives?

Because it's infection. If the infected team kills a survivor, they become infected.

Okay so I hopped on to the server and reloaded the bricks and it worked. I set the Infected team's lives to 999 and the survivor's team to 1.

Why do we spawn on top of the map and only have 1 life?

Oh.... I think raycasting is turned off for the spawns and the minigame is set to 1 life, let me edit that.
