but way better than a tileset or a graphics pack (i still recommend LNP though because its bundled with all sorts of cool things): learn what the ascii characters mean and realize that imagination has an infinite resolution
heres a quick run down of some common creatures
@: adventure mode player character
U: human
☺: dwarf
e: elf
g: goblin/goose
Ñ: night creature (aside from bogeymen)
ñ: bogeyman
how do I move between layers< and > by default.
I've forgotten and it's completely screwed me over whenever I want to watch my dwarves make little wooden bracelets
