wtf are you talking about? i'm just saying, why wouldn't it be bullstuff you had to start all over again. this isn't 80's gaming anymore.

You aren't starting over again, everything you've done in the dungeon is saved aside from killing enemies and breaking pots. Starting over would be completely resetting the dungeon and getting rid of every item you've earned in it. On a side note, Wind Waker is a fairly easy game.

it usually just continues but puts you at the start of the dungeon

yeah it saves almost everything (if not everything) and puts you at the start, iirc most dungeons have a new shortcut to/from the main room every couple of rooms.
