The thing is, some people would be completley dedicated to killing other people so that would kinda destroy everything

honestly if they were too stupid to realize that cooperation is their best chance of survival, they probably wouldn't make it long enough to find someone else to kill

When I was in the states I kept off the radar with a small group of people to the side of the lunch room. Was better that way, everyone else was either an starfish or superficial. I don't mean to be 'le higher level intellect' or anything but I grew up humble, spent most of my time in a southern correctional boarding college, and by the time I was supposed to have friends I was in some rich tight ass suburb wearing a flannel and jeans and everyone else was exclusively wearing polos, khaki shorts and boat shoes. Me and some other middle-class kids who didn't fit in grouped together off to the side and convinced ourselves we were better off that way until a couple years later when half of them either ended up in fraternities getting stufffaced every night or moved to the other side of the country to get a degree in dancing.

When I moved to Australia I ended up in another middle-class suburb but with the way aus works it doesn't really matter. Despite going to a private school I never had issues with trying to fit in based on your wealth class because everyone had uniforms, so the social ladder essentially boiled down to how many chicks you could pull at the local club. Even though I had no interest in romanticized night life I was still very popular because Americans are apparently a rare breed in Western Australia, everybody knew my name, but it wasn't long before I had marginalized myself off to the side again, so by the time school ended and I walked away with only a handful of new friends, despite knowing everyone a year below me kek

High school 'popularity' is a pipe dream and doesn't count for squat later in life. Should rather focus on making meaningful relationships than chasing after hierarchies.

unless you've got solar panels, kiss electricity goodbye.

kinda an overstatement, gas powered generators wouldn't be too difficult to come by. the local hardware store probably has enough gear to get you self sufficient on utilities.

I wouldn't be worried about running into any of you. I'd be worried about starving to death or breaking my leg and dying of an excruciating infection. Y'all can be kinda weird but that's mainly just because we're a community of socially awkward introverts and that usually doesn't translate to "confrontational and aggressive"

Hopefully I'd be somewhere in the US when this happened, because trying to cross the ocean would result in certain death. Realistically if EVERYONE except Blocklanders have just vanished, I wouldn't have to worry about looters, so it would be open season on any store I find, so I'd stock up on tools / supplies / dried food. I'd raid the nearest hospital for anti-biotics and supplies, beacuse getting hurt when you're alone in the wilderness is usually very bad news. I guess at that point if I still had the ability to communicate with other Blocklanders, there's one or two of you I'd try and meet up with. Mainly just so I don't go loving nuts or in-case I badly hurt myself

Lemme stop you right there. God gave humans free will. The Bible says that we were made in his image (his being God). The most prominent aspect of this is that we were given free will. God absolutely could force us to do whatever he wanted us too, but he doesn't. The Bible also specifically says that the world we live in will be a challenge to live as the Bible says. So it's completely their choice to reject the Bible or not. And IF you do believe it, then you understand that 100 years on this earth is literally nothing compared to eternity, so how comfortably we live our lives here doesn't really matter.

Yeah? I read about someone who lost their brother due to the irrational intolerance of the church, his brother commit Self Delete because they told him all this bullstuff about how much of a forgetup he was for being gay. Tell me, what the forget do I say to him afterward that'll make him want to convert to Christianity? Tell him that his brother was a pusillanimous individual and the church was right all along? "Trust me bro, not all christians want to bully your loved ones into Self Delete bro. just convert bro"? Does he deserve to burn because he wont accept that?

It wasn't about free will to begin with. As a matter of fact free will is part of the damn problem, sorry but "do this or burn in hell forever starfish" isn't a loving 'choice' and it certainly doesn't represent 'freedom'. You and I got it easy. Obviously we were both brought up with these strict values so it's easier for us to believe in the magical sky bro because it's all we've known since we could wipe our own asses. And yeah I get it, yadda yadda, pascals wager right? Sorry but most kids growing up in the current era are gonna find it pretty damn hard to believe that my boy Noah saved the entire animal kingdom by herding their asses onto a boat that he made with his bare hands and some syrup before a giant flood filled up the whole Earth. Or that Moses split an entire sea in two and then led a ton of people through it to safety. Or that Jesus turned water into wine. Who's fault is that? Are they at fault because they won't willingly accept something that blatantly contradicts everything they've been taught? Do they deserve to burn for all eternity because of it?

If God expects people to just blindly follow something while simultaneously giving them absolutely jack for evidence, then he must think we're real loving stupid. I don't believe God works that way, I don't think he's that loving cruel. If he designed the human brain and is truly omnipotent then he understands the brown townytical nature of the human consciousness.

I'd recommend a pair of converse. Pretty standard, pretty casual, won't set you back that much at all.

I mean in reality as long as you aren't wearing love offender 11's and cargo shorts you oughta be okay

It shouldn't be their fault that in 2016 they don't want to believe in the magic man in the sky. Especially when we've removed it from schools to the point where kids actually get punished for talking about it. I don't disagree with the separation of church and state but the fact that God isn't going to have any mercy on my friends because I failed to convert them is bullstuff. If it's on anyone it should be on me.

Maybe it was easier back in like 6 trillion BC or whatever but nowadays you can't expect people to dedicate themselves to a religion when they spent their lives listening to people call it a crock of stuff. That's just the way it is.
