are they aware that sound isn't produced in space

they're probably also aware that space ships can travel at over 100m/s and that killer cyber robot dogs don't exist

doesn't make for good gameplay though

Game Modes / Re: Base Raiders

Build stealing is entirely different because clicking the "Save Bricks" button is just a tad easier than, yknow, building an entirely new gamemode from scratch. Anyone can make a deathrun. Making an innovative and fun gamemode and then hogging it to yourself despite it both being finished and not having an intent to host it again is your choice, but if you get pissy when someone else who has the skills goes ahead and remakes the gamemode so they can experience it again then you're a loving richardhead.

Reinforcements will always be known as the guy who improved on a mod that improved on a concept (kek). But now he'll also be known as the guy who didn't release it. That's just a consequence of his decisions.

A philosophical question: If you're pretending to be handicapped all the time, are you really pretending anymore?

pretty sure he was lampooning molten's excessively handicapped video game moral ideology

Why would you even care about being able to kill children if you aren't gonna make use of it?

Because it's good game design to flesh out player freedom rather than just making characters indestructible? Please don't design any games.

You think you should be able to kill anyone in games with no consequence

What "consequences" should there be for killing people in video games, genius?

I like how MoltenKitten removed Riddler from his signature before criticizing others for being "genocidal maniacs"

Anyone who legitimately unironically believes that video games should be "moral" oughta to stick to playing Diner Dash

You're just as psychotic for enjoying their work as they are for making it

You literally have a my little pony edit of Riddler in your signature. You're making a joke out of a Flash Mober who slaughtered 6 million innocent real life people. But Tony's the psycho immoral starfish for shooting an NPC in a game about a fictional nuclear apocalypse.

Le moral high ground as usual, friend.

The mass shooting scene in Modern Warfare 2 is far worse than killing some dumbass kid in Fallout 3. That scene was loving brutal man. Shooting a kid in Fallout 3 would be basically indistinguishable from throwing a bowling ball at a sack of potatoes.

One day, Lord Tony might grow old and have a couple children and grandchildren

and you'll probably still be angry about his posts on the internet

- Retains all fundamental features like building (duh), vehicles, wrench menu, wrench events, minigames
   i. would be cool if there was an output even that executes a certain block of script too
- Better lighting engine, tangible darkness, more than one shadow-casting light, light transparency
   i. directional lights
ii. a maximum visible light cap above the pathetically abysmal value of 8
- Better optimization, a game that runs like it's 2016 and not, like, 2005
- Better water physics, bring back waves
- Helicopters (imagine that)
- Moving/dynamic bricks
- Multiple brick grids
- Modifiable bricks, no need for 10000 different brick packs all containing the same variation of a 1x14 brick, should just be able to change the size of the brick
- Infinite colorset, having a restricted colorset sucks, something that works on something like FFFFFF would be incredible, as well as being able to save and identify colors
- Terrain, and control over it. heightmaps, terrain brushes, kinda like the old map editor.
   i. could be made from something like modter, would actually prefer that, but whatever goes
- Working vehicle physics
- Flexible working bots with AI that isn't total garbage (pathfinding, melee)
- Doors that dont suck
- Better networking that doesnt take like 5 years to get into a server
- Better projectiles
- Existent development (burn)

most of the problems we have are just because the engine is outdated, torque has a lot of awesome stuff that i'd hate to see go. also i don't want to learn another engine to continue modding blockland

there are engines out there that are both better for Blockland and exponentially easier to mod lol. torque is below the industry standard in every conceivable area imaginable
