the solution to making people take mental illness seriously isn't to rag on people with mental illnesses that you personally consider illegitimate. it starts with not making (and not consuming) media that portrays them negatively or inaccurately and even more importantly with openly taking them seriously yourself and calling your peers on it when they make jokes or say something stupid about them, even in private

poor people overwhelmingly stay poor, by design. it's not an accident. rich people and their corporations hold the power here, and they're using that power to make themselves richer every day. that wealth isn't coming out of thin air, it's coming out of the pockets (read: paychecks) of every other person in this country
these problems are worsened for black people, being that they are less likely to be hired (and for less money), more likely to be fired, and more likely to be arrested and receive greater sentences or to be outright murdered by police

YOU ARE A WOMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" type even though the said woman doesn't know they don't want to be a womanthis isn't really a problem. there are certainly some trans people who are a bit overzealous about other people's eggyness, so to speak, but it's ultimately harmless. the barriers to transitioning are significant. virtually everywhere in the world, including very left-leaning european countries, requires quite a lot of process. several discussions with therapists and psychologists about "informed consent", and some countries and US states require sterilization before you can even change the letter on your driver's license
nobody transitions on a whim (and certainly not because someone on reddit called them an egg)
