I was wondering if anybody would be kind enough to attempt porting the old Map Spyglass to a static shape map, I think it should be simpler due to the fact it doesn't have complex shapes like the bedroom.

I mainly wanted to use it to remake my old Spyglass TDM, I tried making a map, but accuracy to the map proved to be difficult just using mod terrain.

I am aware of the possibility of collision errors, but I don't think they would be a bother.

Edit: I found an ancient screenshot of my old TDM server, I definitely need to remake it, my building skills where poor back then.

Guys I'm looking for a new GPU on a budget, my ancient HD 6670 is not cutting it anymore.
Is a R7 260X good for running Blockland with High shaders? or is it still too weak?

I do not care if the card is AMD or NVIDIA, it just needs to be under 150 USD.

Almost certainly not

People who have installed the Technical/Consumer Preview will be able to upgrade to full windows 10 once it is out, even if you installed it on another computer, meaning if you did not install it on your main computer both your computers can receive the update.

What I did is use a loophole  to get a vista laptop upgraded to 10 full.

After you finish the upgrade, you can opt-out of being an insider, as being a windows insider will stay probably for a very long time even after its released.

I'm going to dump my suggestion here for server ticker notifications as well:
Only since I see it as a much better option to possibly have it integrated into BRV.

As of 6/2/15 this is now a suggestion for BRV features, locked.

Basically we have all sort of ways to announce server information :Bottom Prints, Chat text, Center Messages.

But there is one issue with those, you are limited in space of information.

So here is my idea : A ticker board that shows up when you announce things and repeats it once or twice. Here is a video if your unfamiliar with ticker boards : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJZCfOa8Tf0

The ticker would show up from the top of the screen down, with a transparent black bg and white text much like what you would see in the start a game gui, your message could be short or long and you would have an option of the ammount of times the message would repeat (defaults should be once or twice)

Text size would also be a preference, or overall size as well, if you want it as a steam notification style or to take up an entire like at the top of the screen would be a option.

I really like 8.1. It's very good. I've tried the windows 10 technical preview and didn't like it.

Did you even bother with the consumer preview?

Technical Preview was for Enterprise users, before all the consumer features got added.

Well I cant even run shaders on Blockland with this machine, think I can get away with running LEGO World with no shading?

Intel R G41 Express Chipset

Intel's Integrated graphics are notorious for being bad(a tleast on old hardware), get a cheap graphics card and you should be set.

If your not a heavy gamer you could probably get something cheap like an r7 250x thats usually around the 100 dollar range or for an extra 20 you can get a 260x that's a great budget card, I would of said the GTX 560 ti but that card has long been since discontinued.

It all depends on your budget really, for installation I'm sure if you know how to use common sense, youtube, and follow instructions, you should be able to install it all on your own.

To anyone who gets the incompatible hardware thing with any AMD related things, its mainly due to AMD not having drivers ready, but I'm sure once Windows 10 RTMs, AMD will have drivers ready for New and old hardware.

I can't wait for the upgrade, I'm an insider so I already run the preview on an old laptop, its amazing how much it improves speed on such old hardware and yet retains stability.

To anyone wondering its an old Toshiba laptop with a Celeron with only 3GBs of ram, yet I get a fluent experience.

I just hope they get rid of the stupid circles that crop every profile picture in the whole system, they look like stuff, that and the recent icons that are just Windows 7 icons but flattened, they need to use the office 2013 or 2016 icons.

If you reserve, Windows 10 Basically gets preloaded in a windows update so when the final version is ready it gets installed in 20 minutes or less (depending on hardware) that means once it comes out there is no installing and then getting faced with a large amount of updates.

The restrictions will end up ruining the game for anyone expecting blockland level of mods or servers.

It's a lego game for children, what do you expect?

Its a game for children... and nearly all steam users are older than the expected audience.


However if the game would launch on the Wii U, I think it would be a massive hit, gamepad controls could probably fix the horrible building controls I hear of.

I feel like blockland should be updated to actually use a login like Email and Password. The key system kind of sucks because once it's compromised it's compromised for life, you can't change your key.

Emails are not the safest thing either, in fact it would be probably easier for someone to break into that first.

Badspot should snatch a couple of ideas from this game, Lego Universe kind of gave the game a bad rep though, it looks amazing though, I just don't like a few things about the game, I can't help but feel that restrictions may end up ruining the game, specially "fake" servers.
