Grind up towards platinum armor by fishing and opening crates
After that, save your crates for hardmode so you can get a crapload of ores and bars without having to mine or smash demon altars

yes, the front of the scope is white, and the back of it (where you look) is transparent blue
i can't have it be transparent blue for both sides because blockland + transparency = weirdness

You could just make the scope completely transparent hollow

Jungle is 80 grass, vines, lihzahrd bricks (though using 80 lihzahrd bricks will spawn temple enemies)

I might be wrong, but I don't think temple enemies will spawn if you aren't standing in front of a lihzahrd brick wall
