what I don't get is why they're nerfing axes as a weapon so much when swords are in every way better
are they going to buff the damage at some point or something?
read the wiki, it was actually a large buff
also, hoes deal damage and can be rapidly spammed now

I'm pretty sure they only grow in hardmode

Medusas can't petrify you if their animation is interrupted, so you just have to deal constant damage when one appears and it'll die without causing much damage.
