what do you do to need so much power

17
why not dualboot??? youll have access to a lot more games and features that way

Yes, I have the same problem. It's a CPU bottleneck. I have a AMD Radeon HD 7850 card with an AMD Athlon II x4 635 CPU (2.9 GHz). Also, Blockland doesn't work with CrossFireX, does it?
really doubt its a CPU bottleneck. I am fairly sure Blockland uses next to no CPU power

zonebricks

Any amount of bricks, it seems
Thats odd. Maybe shaders take up a large chunk of RAM? Maybe some other bottleneck? idk

21
As a 7770 ghz user, I get 10-20 fps on shaders.
How many bricks loaded? I should actually retest the 7770, since I tested the Randomizer map with the GT 620 and I think ACM city with the 7770. Fairly sure that the Randomizer map has more bricks, so all in all the GT 620 outperforms it

I got to test out a GT 620 recently. Ran Blockland shaders at max settings without hiccups, somewhat adequate framerate (around 30FPS) at around 30k bricks. The GT 620 is a very low-end card. In other games, performance was comparable to my Intel HD 4600 (with some exceptions such as Skyrim), newer games were completely unplayable.

I try out a 7770, which is a significantly better card then the GT 620. It is able to play all games. Newest games at around medium settings, older games such as Arma 2 at very high settings. I try out Blockland, and I get pretty much identical performance to the GT 620.

The GT 620 was on par with the 7770 in Blockland. What the hell is up with that?

can someone tell me what is the best computer for gaming that I can build/buy for $400, including a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and Windows
windows - $85
monitor - $100
mouse+keyboard -  $15

only about 200 left for pc. a gaming computer is pretty much impossible for the price. unless you buy some used parts off of ebay, salvage old computers. you could pick up a hard drive, a case, disk drive. in the best case scenario you are looking at a $60 pentium + $50 H81 mobo + $40 RAM + $20 PSU after mail in rebates. left with at whopping $30. not enough for a GPU, youre going to have to stick to integrated HD for a while. youll only be able to play only older games, until you save up for a GPU.

if you are a student, then you could probably get windows 8 for free. in that case, pick up a GTX 750 or something and youll have a somewhat adequate gaming PC

there is no reason to not eat the raw fish sush. its so good. my family goes out for sushi like 4 times a month lol, we love it.

california rolls are pretty good. I guess you can start off of them if youre scared of eating raw fish or something. but spicy tuna rolls = best stuff ever

oh, and try scallops. so creamy and nice...
