I could've sworn there was discourse about Roblox players saying "Roblox is better than Blockland" etc etc in game for a while. Did that not happen? Or was it reversed and it was mostly Blockland players saying that about Roblox? Either way, I thought it was low key a good thing that Blockland was big enough for Roblox players/community to talk about it in game somehow.blockland players have been saying "blockland is better than roblox" and roblox players have been saying "roblox is better than blockland" for many many years, you are not misremembering
it's not that bad but they changed the close overlay button position from top center to top center-right which is really annoying with the muscle memory i have at this pointthere's a button to close the overlay? for all my time on steam i've always used the hotkey to close it... maybe u should start doing that too
this was what actually made me aware of blockland in the first place.
Why is it that on every online forum, that being either like Discord, Reddit, Twitter, or even the damn BLF, 50% of its users are gay or trans or something. Yet you go outside and notice that they make up like 1% of the pop. Are LGBT people terminally online?i spoke to somebody in-game who is trans this question and they said it's simply easier to find friendlier spaces online, and that it's easier to discover who you are and to express yourself online so you end up finding that most lgbt people have spent enough time online to become who they are. this would also answer similar questions like why are so many furries programmers
you have a cognitive bias. for every queer person you see online there are like 9 other straight people who just aren't making themselves as visible because all they do is play valorant and talk with their friends or something, which also goes for a lot of queer peopleprobably a bit of this too
there are absolutely straight dominated communities, you're just not in them for some reason
it'll be weird when this niche corner of internet history is wiped forever tbh
there's something to say about blockland - most of the content is contained among its users with the exception of youtube content

you mean... if we die... blockland... blockland is dead...
