I've explained a few times on the forums that I'm doing a degree on game design and I'm currently doing a project of designing and producing a solo project game; I have to code the entirety of it, however I can get help on the arts side. I've already modelled most of the buildings, however I need someone to animate the AI and someone to design the HUD and artwork (logos and such)
I won't be paying you, if I decide to sell the game or put it on steam greenlight then any profits would be divided accordingly. I'm already finding it fun making this game, so most likely I wouldn't want to sell it for profit.
The game is built on the UDK engine and is an open world wild west online RPG. I'm keeping the details vague as I don't want to release much information at this time.
I can see the game being a sucess, as I'm applying the same organisation and creativity skills shown in the production of my (in my opinion) successful server here: http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=265279.0
I may post photos of some of the game later, currently I'm just working on the mechanics of the world, and have a lot of the map already made.

Not interested in hearing your complaints of "omg why dont you pay us!!!!" I want to find the team players who're willing to assist for free.

Off Topic / Should I buy the GoPro Hero? (First generation) - Read OP

At university I've been given a £400 ($680) giftcard to spend at the university store. In this store you can buy things such as books, cameras, laptops, bicycles, phones, and stuff that would generally help you in your studies.
Now I don't need anything in the way of laptops/phones/books/cameras/bikes, so I was browsing the store app today to see what would be cool to get. I came across the GoPro Hero 1 for £100. Now since I'll be flying off to Canada this winter for two weeks snowboarding it might be cool to play around with a GoPro.

Obviously since this is the first ever GoPro released, the quality will not be up to modern standard, but I'd just like to know if its actually pretty good? Has anyone shot anything with the Hero 1? Could you show me a video that you've taken with it?

They do sell the Hero 4 but I don't really want to blow all the cash on something I wont use regularly.

Off Topic / NAT 3 networking issues

Since I've moved into my new apartment I've noticed that GTA online/Red Dead Redemption doesn't match me with any players, however computer games do work online. I've researched this and found there's a problem with my network not being a NAT 3 type.
I've tried different tutorials on YouTube and literally nothing works to change it to an open NAT.
I've decided that the problem lies with the network ISP. The ISP is owned by the group who own the apartments around here (and due to legal reasons I'm not actually allowed to own a router, but of course I do)
Does anyone know anything more about this? I may be wrong in my theory but if anyone else has had some problems simmilar to mine please help me out. It's urgent, when I play GTA online it only puts me on empty free roam servers.

Off Topic / My University Dissertation Degree Gaming Project

Recently you may have noticed I haven't been playing blockland much. A month ago I started university and since then I've had no time for blockland (although I still host GTA with Siba as the manager and lead developer under my supervision) I've started to work towards my project where I'll be creating a game which will be marked which will go towards my degree. I'm not telling you guys to add to the load of blogland posts, I come asking a question...

I was playing Red Dead Redemption earlier today which made me think about the work Myself, Pass and the rest of SPO worked on a while ago. I want to base my game off the game, I'll model aesthetically similar buildings and areas, however the map will be on a small scale. The game will be built on a UDK engine and will be up for a free download when it's finished. I've been working on other games in Unity but I've put them aside due to the importance of this degree project.
So finally, I need to know from you what features would be cool to see in a Wild West free-roam RPG? Features would have to be simple, it's not going to be a major MMORPG with hundreds of hours of gameplay, it'll be a simple game which you could beat in a couple hours.
I do not intend to work on it after I've handed it in for assessment, however if I like the outcome of the game I will turn it into an MMORPG and put it up for sale, if the game is quality.
It's just myself working on this project, with some help from the arts department here at the university, so try and keep the ideas to a realistic standard, I have to include things like physics, and try and stay away from the shooter category.

Is there a way I can use /reloadbricks to get my load up quicker?

The build is 100k+ so I'd like it if I could do it without loading the normal way

Moving into my house on sunday, and my landlord said I'm not allowed to have my own wifi as there's already an ethernet cable in the house which provides to the whole house estate.
But why would they tell my housemate that we CANT buy wifi?
obviously we have gone ahead and bought our own wifi, but wtf.

Recently people have been uploading colour sets which are pretty dull to be honest, I've decided to release the final version of my colour set which I use for multiple builds. This set merges well with most popular sets.
Colour sets are a matter of opinion. I've been working on this set for about 4 years, building it up as I go to create the perfect combination for what I build.
Inb4 MERICA DOSNT SPELL COLOR LIKE THAT
