Can someone help me understand how to use the POSITION part of a special brick?

If I wanted to color the top of a 3x3x7 green (about a 3x3x3), how would I change this?

okay this is pissing me off, i going to cheat on one of my worlds so I can go to "The Nether", but of course INVedit is being a stuffbag, whar 2 put the mods for minecraft?

Just download inv edit, run it, click arrow in open menu, select world, do stuff, click arrow by save, select world, done.
