Drama / so my family is extremely concerned over my brother (drama pg.4)

yesterday, as soon as i got home from school, my mom was on the phone with my brother. after the call, she said that she was concerned over his mental stability. my mom said she was expecting another call, and as soon as she got it, she was not fond of the news. my brother apparently says he wants to commit Self Delete. he's been extremely unhappy lately, all he does is waste his time on Elder Scrolls Online. like, he'll spend 24 hours at a time playing that game. his usual schedule during the day is nap, play that game, and eat around lazily. in fact, last time i saw him, he was an incredible starfish to me.

so, back to yesterday, my mom was really upset over what my brother said to her. he was yelling, and apparently was at my grandparents' house.

i'm worried about him

Off Topic / my laptop is failing to function correctly

ok, so, like ever since i got this piece of toast it has been functioning extremely slow. every time i click on a window more than one time, say i'm dragging a file to a folder or trying to launch a program, my desktop stops responding and immediately everything that's running fails to load correctly. i have also been getting almost daily crashes. right now, my taskbar is grey and the only window i can use is opera, hence me posting this.

like, seriously, every time i tell the computer to do something, the window either stops responding, a ton of things pop up, the taskbar turns a color, or whatever the hell i'm doing crashes.

and don't tell me to check for viruses. i have done frequent scans with avast, bitdefender, kaspersky etc. usually i get a few pups out of my way but i am sure i have no malicious software.

this is pissing me off, i have tried putting a fan next to my laptop to keep it cool, hasn't worked. i have tried actually organizing stuff and deleting ship. i have tried ccleaner, rkill, multiple antivirus software, none have worked to my avail.

i'm asking this as a last resort, how can i fix this?

yes, this machine is a cheap piece of stuff. i got it for 300 dollars, it's supposed to be slow, but functioning like this is not acceptable.

not to mention my warranty is also expired.

System specs:
4 gigs of ram. 3 and something usable.
integrated intel graphics
2.x processor

can someone help me?

i need something happy to clear my head of this stuff i've been experiencing.

This thread is dedicated to the music that you dislike and are absolutely appalled by. I don't feel the need to make a fancy OP, because the purpose of this thread is simple.

So, for the last few days, people in my homeroom have had an obsession with some stuffty artist named Meghan Trainor. There's apparently a track called "All About That Bass" that A Dose of Buckley made a rant on.

This encourages obesity, and not only that, the music video is just absolutely appalling. If you look at them dance and all that, you can see how stereotypical this song is. I know that a lot of pop music promotes females as love toys, but the song's purpose combined with stereotypes just don't go together.

Off Topic / i have some symptoms of ptsd, and very bad depression.

so, in short, i'm not begging for attention, just asking for some verification here.

everyday, i start crying at random times for random reasons. there have been some events that have happened in the few years that are painful to think about and i'm having serious trouble forgetting about them. i start thinking about things, like family, friends, and other stuff, and instantly i get very emotional. i don't know if it would be appropriate to say that i have ptsd, but i'm doing very poorly when it comes to happiness.

so, yesterday, in the middle of the night while i was sleeping, i woke up for some reason and i started thinking about things. soon i got carried away and i thought about something very sad and i started instantly crying. i didn't wake my mom up, but i sorta kept on for the remainder of the time i was awake. i then fell asleep and it was fine.

today in school, while i was in math class, i was about to cry for no reason. i held myself together and didn't, but i looked like i was about to.

a couple of days ago, i kept thinking about my grandparents and my dad and got seriously emotional. i started breathing heavily, and i couldn't keep myself together.

are these symptoms of ptsd?

again, i'm not begging for attention, just asking for some verification.

i get seriously emotional for no reason and i start shaking, i get chillz up my spine and i look down.
