Maps weren't even good.So bricks & slate grounds are better?
Then how are you on the forum? Most likely by making it on his disconnected computer, transferring the files to his cell phone, and uploading the files to the internet via 3G connection.
He's so much of an idiot he hasn't realized that practically +80% of the gaming community is consisting of teenagers. For chrissakes, do your research. According to The Register and GoNintendo, most gamers are adults. However, Blockland panders to the teenage male audience. Whether or not teens have bad taste in video games is your opinion.
Hey does have a few good points, although a bit miss said. I love Blockland a crap ton, but I'm not a huge fan of most of the players. Blockland is drama central for 8-16 year olds to piss on each other just because they can. Minecraft has a much winder range of players who aren't hell bent on drama.Amen.
Other than that I feel he has the review a bit wrong.

Not even sure how this would be done without it looking ugly.Matching the moving shapes up with the ground might be a pain.
We also need to make Bible and Qur'an items, gotta make the people seem legit.
eh? When did he say that?

I'd have to agree on Bethesda.Bethesda already has Elder Scrolls Online and it's a much more advanced engine.
I made something like this a while ago for my RPG. I never backed it up though, and I lost it since.
Basically, the server communicated to the client through a series of clientCmds to dynamically build a dialog box, with whatever title, text, and whatever and however many buttons you wanted, each with whatever option and whatever serverCmd to call on click
