I've been sitting on a zombie survival build for about two years now. It has a mostly complete game mode that has a simple premise of cooperation and competition (imagine DayZ but small, and usually no more than 15 to 20 minutes).
The only thing stopping me for the past two years is my inability to code. I need a zombie that moves at a player's walk speed. It would spawn in large groups within a certain radius of spawners (group size and density can be changed with events?). The only way to kill it would be with a headshot. It's attack would do 20 or so damage.
That's the easy stuff I think. Now there are additional components I would be willing to pay actual money for.
They would group up at bricks named 'door' if they detect a player on the other side
There's a small chance that if they attack you, you won't be able to move and you have to kill it before it bites you, infecting you and ensuring your death after 2-3 minutes.
For God's sake they can't ever lose interest in a player if they see one unless another player attacks them or they die.
Gunfire would attract them.
They would attack non-players like horses and bots.
Finally they would break and attempt to jump crouch through transparent bricks.
I want to stress the fact that I'm willing to pay to get this made. This might be a long process of drawing ideas out and killing conflicting ones.
