The funds that were stolen from the treasury were the private property of the leaders of Plexia, so whoever took part in the theft has it coming.  This is personal.  
Mercenaries are hired by the leaders of Plexia and some of the stolen funds have already been returned.  It is announced that any funds returned within 2 days will mean that the thief will get off with nothing but the shame of having stolen something.  After the two days are up, all bets are off.  

Plexian ships return from Avalonia with a "new" metal.  Quantities of low-grade steel increase the number of swords in Plexia.  

A Plexian landing party (unknown to Plexia, obviously) has reached a distant land after some time.  It is Espovon.  
We'll see how this goes.

Plexian leader Knut has left his place in the government.  He has yet to be replaced. 

Avalonian ships, once recognizing puny Plexia as unimportant have finally made efforts to contact Plexia. 
Business owners from Avalonia are taking advantage of Plexia's stocks of gold and virgin foreign market. 

Plexian cartographers are getting a great idea of the surrounding land.  The coastline for many km had been mapped out accurately.

The journalists know the risks when they go out there.  That's like feeling sorry for somebody who gets hurt after agreeing to have a football thrown at them while biking down a hill. 

That being said it by no means justifies what CIA is doing.  I'm just saying feel less sorry for the people who put themselves at risk. 


Overall this is a grisly and slippery slope to tread on.  I think that we should avoid generalizations about what's happening out there.  They've got their own culture and we can't judge it based on our own ways. 

Again: I don't agree with what they're doing.  I can't stress this enough.

Several generations of exploratory missions have returned.  Nothing of huge importance was found anywhere nearby, which is worrisome.

A census was taken and the population was seen to have increased by about 1000 persons.

I know it wasn't necessary but I was waiting to be on the map to start posting. 
Plexian ships (in small numbers) slowly move along the coast the the east.  Landing parties are very rarely sent out.  Nothing important to report. 

The Plexian leaders send a fifteen-man expedition southwest to see if there's anything interesting.

The important one is the guy who's surrendering.  Part of a comic/novel my brother and I have been working on for years now. 
Obviously it's not a completed drawing nor will it ever be.  I'm just trying to make a drawing of every character involved.  This one is currently unnamed.
