Brooklyn follows Norum the whole way, eventually pulling up her hood at the annoying rain. As Norum stops in front of a bench she finally takes it down and looks about, scanning the platform. As he sits she follows suit beside him.
She leans over toward him quietly asking, "Do you have any details on who we'll be looking for besides she's a woman?"

Norum checks the location on his phone and looks it over for a second, mapping out the subway routes in his head.

"Hey Brooklyn, we're going to Sharpton South" he says, eyeing the street signs while putting his phone away, looking eager to get moving.

"Alright I'm game. Let's get this new guy then." Brooklyn quickly looks down the street in both directions, eyeing from the street to the tops of buildings. "I've got some questions along the way if we can ever discuss them discreetly too."

I wish it was longer AND more densely packed with training. I really think that basic wasn't a challenge with army.

But I am still an IT Guy so all the skills I learned in basic simply will not ever matter.

Congrats dude. If you're active duty let me know how long it takes for you to become disillusioned with the army.

Also if you went anywhere other than fort sill for basic you're missing out

Norum picks up his coffee cup, pressing it to his lips and taking a sip, initially staring her in the eyes...

Norum sets the cup back down on the saucer.

"I would like to see how you operate. I will join you today. We can wait to talk about business because how you act will probably tell me more than anything else anyway"

She brings the tea back to her mouth for a moment. "And if it's, like, important, my citizenship is with a country that some people in Aurum might not be 100% happy to deal with. At least that was the vibe when I was here six years ago."

I went to University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth, but I ended up leaving to pursue a military career

She leans forward on the table and sips her tea. As she puts it down she inhales sharply to prepare to talk. "I will do what I need to to find this piece of stuff. Doesn't matter if I have to move around or whatever. He's going to fix the stuff in my head and I'm going to move on with my life, even if I have to lose a few years to get it done."

Brooklyn smiles politely. "Uh, chrysanthemum tea please." When he leaves she drops the smile and looks at Norum again. "Believe me I understand the importance of confidentiality. Elena also made it abundantly clear." She rolls her eyes subtly at the thought of it. It was a little bit of an insult to her intelligence to be told so much, especially when the context was criminal. She was a professional months ago. "But uh, we do need to eventually get talking about business."
