It's probabbly a bug that does something to the CPU and overheats it too quickly.

Don't waste money on a xbox, bro.

Play some other games on your ps3 until a fix comes out.

No the red flashing light also means an internal error so it's probably a sign of the end being near.
And I'm not getting an Xbox, I'm getting an 80GB PS3, I'm not stupid
