Every time I hit purchase in paypal it tells me that there was an error and to try again later.
You will need to contact Paypal's support to figure out what is wrong.

Is there anyway to get to the main menu when the server is launched?
No, the main menu is only available when the server is shut down.

I got the invoice but since I had not linked a bank, two days ago, it made me wait two days before I could verify the bank. Is the invoice still valid to pay?
Your server is not deployed until after payment, so paying late is not an issue. Your billing cycle starts after the first successful payment.

One of the winners from the free server contest has decided to surrender their reward as they no longer had a need for it. This means that there is still one free budget shared slot remaining for someone to claim.

This time, instead of raffling the slot off at random, I'd like people who want it to explain what they intend to use it for. I'll then give it to the host who I see has the greatest need for it.

I'll choose the winner of the slot in two days.

The winners have been chosen.

Sylvanor, Nicepoint, and Zapk (as submitted by Trogtor).

Thank you for your interest in the contest!

It looks like a lottery-type giveaway is more in order here. Do we agree, or should I just give the servers to the first three?

Since nobody was interested in the free server contest, I've decided to simply give out three one-month budget shared packages to the next three posters who claim they want them. If you know someone who needs a server, you should immediately paste a link to this post to them over steam so they can claim it before someone else does.

In other news, the gift code system is now ready for purchases. Gift code redemption will be finished very soon.

I'm Hosting a Snowball Fight until the end of the 25th to celebrate the holidays. Can you add it to the list on the blockhost website until the date?
I've got that done for you now.

FYI: The support email is still going to be a lot faster than asking on the forums.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to have that system done in a few days.

What would people think about a feature which allowed you to purchase a 'gift code', which someone else can redeem for server time?

How long will the free servers last?
2 months.

Ok. So if I were to host a TDM I would cut a pie slice of a bit of a map? I guess it could work for people building things. I think a gallery post tagged with BlockNet such as "TDM Frenzy for BlockNet Contest" might be better.
The idea behind this contest is to allow people to walk around and decide which servers they think are the best. It caters to allowing people are weren't aware of the contest to still be able to make an informed decision without any hassle. Most hosts will probably want to use prints to show screenshots of their server.

I'm confused on the contest. What exactly will you be making?
I'm not the one making things, people who want to win are the ones who will be making things! Players who decide to enter will need to have built a showcase for their server on a 32x32 plate.

I like the website! I think you should use some drop down or separate pages, because the entire website is all on one page and feels crammed up. Speaking of flexibility too, have you thought about using Bootstrap code so people can view the page (and possibly a server monitor) on mobile devices?
Since server control is actually run through SSH, and SSH clients are available for pretty much every platform ever, it's currently totally possible to fully administrate your server on a mobile device.
