I always have and always will find the Steam Sale timing ridiculous. My birthday and tax returns don't happen for a week after the fact, which means I have literally no money going into it and either have to accrue and then pay off debt or sit it out. This year I scrapped some cash, but that's not good enough for every year. loving Valve and their timing.

what if i have a phobia of australian birthdays
That'd be because it's Australian tradition to hunt and eat whatever you can catch in the outback on your birthday.

okay to everyone who says that Windows 10 isn't intrusive

That's not "Windows 10" being intrusive. That's Microsoft's business/legal/marketing departments wanting to push units. It has nothing to do with the quality of the operating system itself.

Yes, as I've agreed before, Microsoft are being richardheads, but their business decisions do not reflect on the quality of the Operating System itself which is probably their finest ever.

remember:
if you don't like windows 10 it's because you're dumb, there's no possible way you can have a negative experience with it
/s
Thank you for another insightful, deep-reaching comment where you prove you're absolutely not a giant pretentious rooster. /s

What you'll find is that people will argue with you whenever your complaints have nothing to do with Windows 10. As I said, most install problems are due to hardware/software compatibility caused by years and years of bad habits from numerous people which are no longer tolerated. Furthermore, many complaints like "The UI sucks" aren't even that descriptive of the problem, so it just sounds like somebody who doesn't like change is whining for the sake of jumping on a bandwagon.

Feel free to stay on Windows 7 or whatever and enjoy less performance, less features and a generally bumpier ride than those of us who are comfortable with moving forward :)

No, it means it's my birthday in about ~9 days. That shouldn't be scary for anyone except those buying my presents.

Woah, watch out, she was performing the common act of "sarcasm". Clearly this means she's a loving puppet and her overlords plan to enslave us with their Jewish-owned bank money! 9/11 was an inside job! Heil Hydra!

Just wanna bump to say that Toxicology has locked a thread because I posted in it. What in the forget?
You posted a stuff joke or some crap and he didn't want to have to put up with you being a loving three year old.

Can't you go cry to Mummy else where? Just because Toxicology gets all the cool kids at his party doesn't mean you can call him a bully.

Wow i actually do agree with the green party despite my weed joke
I'm 90% sure they support legalisation anyway :D

2768
So is the Labour party like Canadian Conservatives? Is your Liberal party even considered liberal?
From the Political Compass:

While I'm much more Green than Labour, the Greens are still a small party and most Australians are too scared to vote for anybody who isn't in one of the big two groups.

2769
I'm not caught up on Australian politics, why are the Liberals cunts?
I like to summarise their views like this:

Labour: I want my gays married, my internet fast and my health care loving awesome.
Liberal: I want my money saved, my arts and culture and medical programs slashed and more people in low-playing non-skilled labour jobs.

which one was the love party
Australia has two "Houses" that represent different branches of politics. These statistics are for the House of Representatives, while the love Party, Hemp Party, Pirate Party, Socialist Alliance and so on are a part of the Senate, which I don't have figures for yet.

2770
It's the big Australian Election of 2016, called by Malcom Turnbill, leader of the stufftiest party (the Liberals), in order to try and organise the Senate. What he's ended up doing is fracture his leadership in the House of Representatives.

With about 90% of the votes counted, the Liberals are sitting at around 64 confirmed seats with a further 2 expected, while Labour (WOOO!!!) are sitting at 69 seats with a further 3 expected. With only 7 undecided seats, the Liberals need almost every single one of them to win back their Government, but if Labour takes at least 2 seats the Attorney-General will find that there's no clear majority and this election will be declared unofficial (and we may go back for a second election).

As for the Senate...while results aren't published, it's absolute chaos; the Liberals have lost their majority and now independents like Christine Hanson and Nick Xenophon have seats, which will make things MUCH harder if the Liberals hold on to their Government for passing bills.

This is going great :D

you're asking why are people arguing with you and I tell you and now I'm a sensitive lmao go do one.
You haven't said why my argument is wrong, only why my presentation is wrong.

Even if I did calm down, people would still tell McZealot to go through with it. I don't understand why people are giving him suggestions that aren't "Go to sleep" and you're not giving me any decent explanations other than "He can choose for himself", which true as it is, doesn't mean it's the morally right thing to say.

If the posts here were just joking I wouldn't give two stuffs, but people are actually giving him serious advice on how to cheat sleep.

2772
It's weird because thats almost exactly what you did in that Zealot thread where he wants to stay up for 48 hours or something like that.
In my first post I basically said that going through with his plan to stay up well beyond healthy hours is a brain-dead move to make. The only questionable line from that post was "This is a stupid idea and you're being a right twat for going on with it.", which implies I'd only consider him an idiot if he didn't evaluate his choices better. A tad too aggressive? Maybe. But it's not an outright "You suck" line because I'm trying to appeal to his intellect and remind him that he should know better.

From that point forward, I wasn't going on to "inspire deep change" because I was under the assumption people are smarter than they were acting. I wasn't trying to make some progressive statement about gender issues or politics; I was simply, clearly reminding people (in yes, an aggressive tone) that it's ridiculous to promote any kind of bodily harm because I'm assuming it's basic common sense.

I don't see how it's the same thing in either case, because the issues are completely different; one argument is dealing with common sense with a very clear general consensus and the other is an issue that runs deep in history and has a lot of people and opinions floating around about.

probably because you're being aggressive as forget and a massive cunt about it?
So sorry, I didn't realise that you don't like bad words! Bless your sensitive heart, I promise to never say cunt again lest people break down into tears.

I'm saying the exact things I wish I said to myself back when I was mentally challenged enough to think this was a good idea. Being nice and sweet about it doesn't work.

Why dont you go stop jackass from getting hurt or something because theres nothing good from what they do.
They're idiots who make a lot of money from recording their "stunts". I can't condone it but it's not like they're solely doing it to forget themselves over.

2774
Appreciate it, man. Thanks.
Writing giant paragraphs, calling your audience out and telling them why they've been richardheads (in nice words, but the meaning is the same) is not going to convince anybody of anything if you're actually serious about wanting to inspire deep change in people; it's just going to start a nice big argument and nobody is going to "fix" their opinion at all.

You should consider appealing to the audience, rather than scolding them as you did, because you came off as a pretentious and annoying forget-knuckle, and I wouldn't want to support or agree with anybody who speaks like that. Keep It Simple Stupid, Think Before You Speak and Show Don't Tell.

2775
However, if even one mind was changed, or enlightened, on the issue, then some change has occurred. I don't need to be on national television preaching about these topics to have an effect on people.
Ah-huh, good luck with that, mate.
