loving facts? No, can't have that. We need more puff pieces based off of sketchy circumstantial evidence, pronto!

This is cringe worthyYeah, it takes one to know one.
Are Europeans alive today responsible for something their ancestors didI can't wait to see how Jitank's derailed logic train tries to argue this.
I think you're being at least marginally serious, but it just sounds like you're making fun of straight peopleNo, I'm poking at the people who love to shove their loveuality in my loving face.
Why do people need a day dedicated to the fact that they forget girls or guys or both even.BECAUSE I'M STRAIGHT AND YOU BETTER RESPECT THAT.
At this point, youre ignoring facts that many people on this topic have pointed out. And you might as well should have left the first paragraph out because its plane incorrect and illogical/practicalEverything I've said has been about dismantling your own argument, and not ONCE have you been able to prove me wrong or show my argument is incorrect.
I'm not particularly technical but they sure made it sound like it was basically new software and a desktop skin for your PC.The majority of the userbase isn't technical, and so Microsoft has a hard sell right there. By convincing people that the process is painless, easy and will benefit them, they can start to conquer a lot of the fears by the average user that a "new Operating System installation" might generate.
I got no indication that an advanced PC even COULD be incompatible with Win10Because it's very hard to judge what might/might not work, and Microsoft don't want people to fear else they wouldn't upgrade (it's a bit weird they don't do more aggressive safe checking however). In your PC, you've got many little systems (as far as hardware components, drivers, programs, services etc) all trying to cooperate and use the same pool of resources together. The simple fact of the matter is that NO computer will ever be future-proof, as future decisions will have great impact on how things need to work and respond to the rest of the whole system.
It's not ASUS's responsibility to keep their drivers updated (though it would be nice),As a manufacturer, ASUS makes the choice on compatibility. While they may not have a legal responsibility to be held to, one must believe that a high profile computer manufacturer with a very large reputation and consumer-base to uphold would have made steps even before Windows 10 initially released to try and work on compatibility.
it's Microsoft's responsibility not to force PC-breaking updates onto people who have no idea they can't run them.Again, Microsoft didn't intend for the installation process to fail, and even you must admit that you are a rare case compared to the large number of people successfully using the system or who downgraded without issues. While the practice of forcing the update is bullstuff, Microsoft has nothing to do with your hardware setup which they do not control by design so as to not be as locked down as Apple. Microsoft are under the assumption that if you PC meets the basic specifications they set out, it must have compatibility.
An update --by definition-- makes something better. In my opinion (and this an opinion shared by many), Windows 10 is a much better operating system.
You have alot to learn about real life if you think being happy and successful is an effortless task for anyone. No, what I said (based off what you said) was that people who are happy and successful then don't usually run into difficulty because they're happy and successful, barring circumstances beyond their control (such as diseases or disasters) or things they do that to themselves (such as having an affair or drug abuse).
The black people you refer to as successful all share stories about how theyve had to work hard to achieve the same sucess. What, do you think white people just become successful by being born?
Just because a few people can overcome the struggle doesnt mean its easy for everyone. That is, by the nature of the word "struggle", what it means; it's difficult to overcome.
If i had aids, i cannot say "oh this wont effect me" because the reality of the situation is that it does.AIDS is a disease with real physical and psychological affects that quite literally prevent you from doing the same things everybody else can. The colour of your skin by itself does not physically prevent you from doing anything; its the factors surrounding you and your genetic makeup.
Why does Windows 10 work flawlessly for some, break completely for some others, or cause a few problems here and there for everyone else?
For the most part it's worked fine for me, both installing and using, but installations on previous systems have caused certain things to break or slow down
Everyone keeps blaming Windows 10 when it's almost entirely due to hardware/software incompatibility that is the responsibility of those manufacturers to deal with...
You guys need to realise that there are many, many parts to a PC, and unlike a Mac, Microsoft allows enough open-endedness (at least over Apple) that there's no guarantee everything will work with everything. The only way to prevent these kinds of issues from happening would be to lock the entire platform down and put everything through intensive standards testing, which only comes at a disadvantage to end users and developers alike.
Linux is further down the line than Windows in terms of openness (and is historically closer to Apple's OS), but it's not like that platform exists without issues (that said, it has less software than it has issues). If people want to use that, go ahead, but I still think Windows is the strongest platform and a lot of the "problems" from this launch come from years of bad programming and habits which Microsoft is starting to dust its hands of by removing a lot of the backwards compatibility and workarounds for.
i still think it's weird that, since windows 8, they've really liked to basically have two separate control panels, and some things are pretty much only plainly accessible in the gross oneIt's not that they've "liked it", it's more of a current workaround because of the layers of complexity involved with the 28 year old Control Panel (first available in Windows 2.0), which is deeply embedded into the system.
Yes, a black man became president but yet theres still alot of racial descrimination.Multiple black males and females have become successful at what they want to do, and these people seem to be able to deal with "discrimination" as if it was nothing. Have you considered that sitting around, whining about the problems doesn't actually solve anything?
And no, its going to effect me no matter what i do.This is the exact kind of attitude that allows it, because now you're going to outright look for the discrimination instead of letting it bounce off you as if it were nothing.
Doesnt mean i cant live a happy and successful life, it just means its gonna be more difficult than it should be.Prove to me that there's no black people in America who face no discrimination whatsoever. Show me that every single person in your race is treated untowardly.
Also, i dont have a "oh woe its me" attitude.
Doesnt mean i cant live a happy and successful life, it just means its gonna be more difficult than it should be.
And no, its going to effect me no matter what i do.
You should know everyone is affected by history.I guess the idea of people being able to make choices and work hard or that times change and people progress is beyond you?
Slavery has a negative effect on me and people of color today.Adding a couple words doesn't change the sentiment. You're only going to let slavery "affect you" if you put yourself in that position. Last I checked, a black man became the President of the United States and there's more than a few black people who are outright massive successes in big business. You think they stooped over and said, "Oh woe is me slavery means I'll never be successful!"
