Drama / Re: Lord tony on a news stuffposting spree
« on: June 17, 2016, 04:48:27 AM »
I'm gonna defend Drydess on this one, because he's totally right.

When this topic was started, Tony had FIVE loving TOPICS in the first page, and FOUR of those topics were non-sourced "I found out about something on the Internet" pages. The OP for all of them was literally two sentences at most.

Seriously, forget anybody who pulls that kind of stuff. You can't say "It's Off Topic who gives a stuff", because at the end of the day that kind of attitude is just gonna lead to people doing some AoT-level spamming.

They aren't working with Obsidian with this? Total bullstuff.
What the forget are you on about? There are other developers in the world, mate.

I've had this game since a few weeks after its initial launch on Early Access. Maybe to others it's okay, but to me it's just the same old Tt stuff; formula gameplay combined with some Minecraft building and a couple loose RPG elements which they hastily added because everybody was complaining about who there was nothing to do.

If you want to build LEGO sets, use LEGO Digital Designer which has a wider library and doesn't have you fumbling with Tt's shoddy control scheme. Every other mechanics in this game has been well done before.

Someone please notify me when Tt fires its current design team and actually hired talented, energetic and inspired people to make something different.

They think you're pregnant
4th person to make that joke  :cookieMonster:

Got about 8 hours of sleep without throwing up last night so that worked out well. Can't eat until my ultrasounds this morning though :(

This year's E3 was loving glorious thanks to you guys. Thanks heaps, and here's hoping the announced games turn out great.

Let's now all bow our heads in respect for the hero of E3 and the CyTube mascot:

Doctor received my blood test results and called in an appointment for Saturday morning. In the meantime, I've got two ultrasounds tomorrow morning.

Everybody I know is preparing for thyroid problems. Does this mean I'm a chick? Wtf.

Welp, I have some good news and some bad news. From the very start I sat up propped up by pillows in a comfortable leather recliner.

Good news is I didn't throw up last night! Bad news is that I only got 2 - 3 hours of sleep. I just couldn't *go*, so I spent most of my night just sitting there breathing.

Next E3, add Twitch's ResidentSleeper and BibleThump emoticons to the CyTube
Added right now. Apparently Nintendo is doing some Treehouse stuff tomorrow so I'll keep the Nintendo stream going in the CyTube.

I've created a playlist for some of the music during the E3 conferences. It's not complete but it should have all the major, good songs you heard.

For all intents and purposes, that's the end of E3 2016 for us. The actual event and show-floor will be open for a few more days so that the press and passholders can try out the games and score swag, but it's unlikely we'll hear any major announcements.

I'll update the poll for the final time. In the mean time, let's get some opinions; how did this rank in your books compared to previous E3s?

Adding more pillows to the pile didn't help (I didn't heave as much, but I still threw). I tried to sleep sitting up but I'm not actually sure if I went to sleep or not; my teeth really hurt and I feel a bit woozy so I'm guessing I probably didn't, but that might just be because of throwing up or something else. I'm gonna try taking a nap later today while sitting upright.

McJob I didn't know you lived in Somalia
The odd thing is that water in Australia is flavoured, and they add stuff like fluoride to it. It's actually tasty to drink, depending on which plant your tap water is sourced from.

Unfortunately, they've recently being adding stuff like titanium to the water, so it's now better to get a purifier or drink via bottles.

See, I have the exact opposite opinion. Presentation is totally and completely irrelevant to me, and I can't imagine how it could matter at all. E3 (and life in general) is about content, not fancy glitter on top.
If all you want to see is the trailers and announcements, why bother with the presentations in the first place? You might as well as you just watch the trailers on YouTube as they pop up.

It's the personality and charm of the company culture that brings these things together. The point of the conferences is for these companies to sell to us why we should be excited for what's coming up, and being all slow and drab is an easy way to turn people off.
