I've seen firsthand what schools are typically like in the UK

And yes, I was homeschooled.

Every forum I go to, there's always this person, and I loving called it before I even knew it for sure. Let's look at a few key traits that these people share:

-> Speak in an almost-pretentiously formal manner.
-> Have a hatred specifically of the education system (which they've probably never actually dealt with as a student). Use the words "firsthand experience".
-> Homeschooled.
-> All have some kind of mental disorder, and they'd like any opportunity to talk about it.

Now, people might go "McJob, you're being a loving cunt. How does this have to do with anything?" You know the reason I dislike this guy? I couldn't give less of a stuff about the formal writing. It's because of this history I've got with these kinds of people. They all think they're better than most other people, and they'd like nothing more than the right situation to prove it. They'll spout unnecessary and irrelevant information to pump smoke up their arse and they'll talk stuff about anybody simply because they don't fulfil some bullstuff moral criteria that these people hold up high. If you think I'm a cynic, these people take it to the next level.

Maybe I'm wrong about C-Zech. Maybe he really is a nice dude and it's not coming through text very well. But I learnt my lesson that these kinds of people are not the kinds of people I ought to associate with, and I only just cleared out my Steam/Skype from the last one of these guys.

I would tell you to forget yourself and to shove your opinion up your ass, but that wouldn't be "taking a break" now, would it?

This is gorgeous. I'm keeping this.

He made stupid posts, I disagree and I want to respond. This whole topic is people throwing around their opinions about people, so why am I not allowed to say I dislike somebody for a specific reason and then reply when people disagree with me? I'm not even angry; that's how I talk to people in real life, with a relaxed voice. I play it up for entertainment value, but 90% I'm more chill than a loving freezer.

Besides, it's 9:38PM and there's no other threads that I feel like responding to.

It's a very acidic environment where everyone is too busy making up edgy insults instead of learning.

If that's your opinion, then clearly you know nothing about the education system or what happens at schools, and you have my pity.

Tell me, were you homeschooled? I might just be getting to the root of the issue here.

I have a friend who is very young, 9 years, and he told me some quite horrific tales.

One kid's experience does not represent the whole. Yeah, some kids have a rough time. That's every goddam environment, and everybody is going to hit some diffculty. Life is not a nice place.

Aside from the annoying fact you use double-spacing after periods, a standard which was killed off because there's no reason for it, I just wanted to quote this so you could reread what you wrote and think about it carefully.

And if you want to say "I was just extending his joke", the joke ended at trog. His was a parody of your style of speech, that's why it's funny. You've slipped into the zone of "didn't get it".

America so I can have the job of my dreams.

Yeah, I can make games here, but there's only indie opportunities and they're 90% phone games. I want to make AAA titles. I don't want to have to loan money or work two jobs and then make my games in my free time. I want to work with a big team of people from all kinds of different fields. Most of all, I want to make games that aren't gonna be limited by stuffty control interfaces or performance issues (aka phones and tablets).

America pls accept me. I'll bring all the tubs of vegemite and giant spiders you want.

Firstly, forget off with your "triggered" BULLstuff. This isn't loving Tumblr; nobody gets "triggered" and nobody needs "trigger warnings".

Secondly, I'm loving annoyed because this guy is talking in this really annoying way that isn't necessary, and it's not a matter of "this how I grew up" at all. It's not loving hard to relax a bit and use smaller words and more casual sentences. This isn't a loving Summit, it's a forum. Almost everybody I encounter who speaks like that is doing it on purpose to pump up their chest and look smarter than they really are; usually they want to be treated like they're a higher class forgetwit.

And it's not just the words he's using; it's the things he says in general. He's taking an extremely roundabout approach and it feels like I have to take a giant journey every time I want to read his posts. Just skip to the point, pal.
