As a gesture of goodwill I have decided to label the Australian states from memory without cheating.

This is the most accurate thing I've seen in my entire life, except for the fact that Black People should be in the North, and that Australia looks like it's been on a bad run with Jenny Craig.

It's not on the same level as what you're thinking of, but I'd recommend FEZ which is going for $10.

It's a 2D platformer with a lot of different areas connected by hubs, and the goal of the game is to discover all the secrets. I absolutely enjoyed it, and there's plenty to see and think about.
