I'm pissed off by the way they market and sell these programs.
I remember when they ran a video game design camp while I was young; it was for girls only. They never ran a camp or anything for boys. It's absolutely loving bullstuff that they "promote equality" by blocking out half the population.

Coding is just one tool that computer scientists can use. Computer Science is all about math (mainly stuff like statistics and logarithms) and logic. Harvard's CS50 is a good place to go if you want to see more about this.
Most people who code are not, and do not want, to be computer scientists.
