I killed a wolf spider an hour after posting in this thread lmao. forgeter put up a bloody good fight as well
Big boots or a rolled up newspaper?

I would never use spray for anything larger than a fly; it just seems to irritate whatever you're trying to kill.

I am 100% sure that thing is a huntsman
Not surprised; kind of wish I took a picture of the carcass, but it was in separate pieces all over the floor.

I was considering keeping it as a pet in a box, but I didn't get to it first.

On a scale of VX to radical feminism how poisonous was that friend of yours.
Any spider that large has a venom that's toxic enough to require medical treatment (stuff won't necessarily kill you, but you'll be in a hell of a lot of pain), and I don't store anti-venom at home.

One of the biggest bastards I've ever seen was this thing.

I was a kid, and I was in my Dad's car when it jumped on from the car in front. My Dad immediately pulls over, puts the hazards on, grabs his giant map book and gets out. He dented the forget out of the car while going to town on it (I think he was just taking his anger out if anything), and the thing still didn't die. Once it was off the car, we drove off.

It's tough to say which kind of spider it is exactly, but the length and the pattern of its legs match that of either a White-Tailed Spider or a Black-House Spider. The set set of front legs look a little too long to be a black-house spider, however.

If it wasn't for the feelers at the front (which I don't believe this spider had), I would have guessed a Wolf Spider.

He's dead now. He was as big as my hand, but now he fits in a little handmade tissue coffin.

Goodbye friend.

One night I extracted all the cutscene videos from Need for Speed: Most Wanted and then I converted them so I could play them on my iPod.

Was watching them in bed, and long story short I jacked off to Kamikaze.

Weirdest thing is that I couldn't find any cum the next morning. Not in my pants or my bed or anything.

Games / Re: Video Games to play with your non-gaming significant other

I tried getting my girlfriend to play Hatred. She said "I don't like playing games where the objective is to only kill people that's why I like assassin's creed."

Wat
She's right though. Assassin's Creed is about doing menial chores, like moving a box across the map or driving somebody London Taxi style to their destination  :cookieMonster:

Older games like Lego Island used depreciated versions of direct x (I think it uses version six) and anything less than Direct X 9 is not supported on modern operating systems like windows 8 and on.
That's incorrect. The issue is that new installations of DirectX do not include certain files, such as d3drm.dll which these games rely on. DirectX 6/7 can't be installed via their installers, so you have to manually get the right .dll files.

Futhermore, most of these games assume:

1) Administrator Rights
2) 8/16 bit colour modes
3) Window Mode locked to 800x600
4) No such thing as DPI-scaling or Aero

Those kinds of things can really forget with old games, which is why you need to set up a lot of compatibility options.

Only game I needed to run a VM for was not a LEGO game; it was Hot Wheels: Mechanix, which runs just fine but does not display graphics. All LEGO games run on Windows 10.

If that tutorial doesn't work, message me and I'll work something out. LEGO Island is a stubborn bastard, but it's not the worst LEGO game in terms of compatibility problems (that medal goes to LEGO Chess).

forget SYDNEY PARLIAMENT.

forget THEIR BULLstuff LOCKOUT LAWS. IF I WANT A KEBAB AT 1AM, I SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET A KEBAB AT 1AM. IT'S SUCH A STUPID, handicapped LAW.

THANKS, CASINO MIKE, FOR LOCKING DOWN ALL MY FAVOURITE CLUBS AND PUBS BUT LEAVING OPEN YOUR stuffTY CASINOS.

Oh wait, wrong debate.

Yeah Australia is going through the stuffter right now. Abandon island.

As a serious response, games like Stanley Parable are designed to be interpreted and ripped apart for study. They have a message and it's about trying to interpret the message through the gameplay. Bioshock does this very well.
