Games / Re: Video Games to play with your non-gaming significant other

Idk about you but the lego star wars games were pretty stuffty in hindsight.
Totally right. I remember having fond memories as a kid of the original two and being so hyped for Complete Saga, but playing it now, it's absolutely painful. The newer ones have the benefit of refinement and polish, but they still have a lot of problems (for example, LotR is fairly buggy, and Marvel Super Heroes made me physically ill which I've never been when playing video games).

That said, co-op improves any game since you're focusing on having fun together rather than the game itself. It actually works well, so long as you really are cooperating and not fighting over which character you have to play as.

Any of the LEGO Tt games (console versions support both local and online co-op). Portal 2 (as mentioned before). I've also had success with Halo/Call of Duty.

It might be worth while to literally play together (sitting on each other using the same controller and all that junk); tends to make things a bit more exciting and a little more cooperative.

Counter-Strike: Global Operations.

Whenever I can't cum to women, I'll get a quick-scope on the opposite side of Dust_2 and I'll be cumming for days.

anyone that changes their view of a movie because of someone else's view is stupid.
Don't be ridiculous.

Other people can identify problems with a movie that you might not have seen when you watched the film, or give you a heads-up about problems you'll encounter if you've yet to go see it.

Critique is important, and it's important to understand how to read critique and how to let it sway your judgement. Out-rightly ignoring other's opinions is a great way to waste money on something you can't even be sure will be good.

But if you lose the beef, you lose the substance :(

What you need to do is either wrap the beef with bacon or stuff the beef with bacon. Either will give you both the thickness of a normal burger that lets you chew for days while also offering the taste of the gorgeous bacon.

forget, I'm hungry now.

hold up
there's a ratchet and clank movie????????????
Yes, and it's supposed to be released alongside the Ratchet & Clank PS4 game. Both are essentially rebooting the original game with new weapons, gadgets, levels and a new storyline (for example, the Galactic Rangers are now a part of the original game).

maybe you should stop being australian
I'm considering it, since America is where all the game design jobs and cheap games are at.

It's a movie.  Life goes on.
I wouldn't be loving angry if I could understand the reasoning why I have to wait so long after all the other kids in the playground get the cool toy. As I've said, this isn't a one-off problem. This keeps on loving happening. I only started really caring with LEGO Movie.

USELESS loving TWATS.

I got lucky with The LEGO Movie. It was a THREE loving MONTH wait for NO reason to watch the film, but I got an advanced ticket via Autodesk, so I was still able to see it *fairly* early.

But no, no such luck with the new Ratchet & Clank movie, which I'd argue I want to see more. 3 loving months is how long I'll be waiting after you yanks get it. That's what Focus Features has decided. Apparently they hate Australia, Australians and specifically me. Oh, Deadpool will come out on basically the same day as America, but how dare I want to watch my goddam childhood hero film on loving time. forget me, that's a hard request right?

So now I get to sit patiently and fondle my richard while a horde of twats and cunts spoil the loving movie for me just like they did with The LEGO Movie. You can sure bet I'll be in a great loving mood for the next 4+ months.

forget Focus Features and everybody associated with that decision.

Was the PSP even good back then? I had a gameboy instead during the time because I wasn't too interested in the games the PSP had.
That Christmas, I do an NDS and my brother got a PSP. I remember being extremely jealous, and eventually he stopped giving a stuff and outright gave me his PSP.

It was amazing for jailbreaking. There were also some really amazing games, like Daxter. For most people the library probably pales in comparison to the Nintendo offerings, but I preferred it.

There have been teachers in the past who I get annoyed with because I feel like they're intentionally forcing their opinions on my work, but usually I smack myself and realise they're right and that I'm not even that great at explaining what I want to do which might be the cause of a lot of the issues.

My game design teachers were loving amazing. Still amazing now since they're still helping me out with jobs and stuff. They've all left the college, so I chat with them via Facebook.

why does every post by mcjob look incredibly stupid
Because every post by mcjob is stupid
"I don't agree with someone therefore they're stupid."

And before you cunts start yelling stuff, no, I actually justify why I think Tt Games are producing crap. Their design team constantly reuse the same puzzles and try to stretch out gameplay with unskippable cutscenes, timers and long/tedious combat. They're also nowadays selling character/vehicle packs as DLC for inflated prices, for content that should and could have been part of the main game. Making a character in Tt Game is copying a base model, throwing over some textures and copy/pasting a few config values.

Get mad at me all you want just because I want LEGO games that are something different and maybe even a little challenging.

Well, they are a good company. They're just being forced into formula by the publisher.
