What's your major? Minor?

Bachelor of Arts (Visual Communication) - Major in Games Design

What career do you want to have when you graduate?

Game Designer/Writer/Programmer. Technically I want to head towards being a creative director, and I'll probably be working as an independent indie for a while, but I'm seeing about contract writing opportunities so I can build my portfolio. Australia's industry is so loving small that it's basically the real life version of a Mad Max film.

Did ACT/SAT scores really matter that much?

My college only required a portfolio, and I got a scholarship out of it.

How are you enjoying it?

They've been redesigning the course while I've been studying it, so while there's been a LOT of things to learn and enjoy it's also been stressful and we've done a lot of work that had to be subsequently re-done. Internship has been a right clusterforget. I really, REALLY enjoyed the theory classes (especially about philosophy and psychology). I learnt most of the programming outside of the college (as it turns out, urgency is the best motivator). I absolutely hate and detest the visual-based classes, but that's my fault for going to a Visual Arts-based college. The people are great and most of the staff are awesome, but there's been quite a few "questionable" practices.

Why did you decide to go into that field?

Incorporates psychology, writing, design, math, history and many other fields that I enjoy. It's basically just teaching without being in the same room as the player.

it's

putt-putt

One day you're going to go to school. It'll be an average day, with children frolicking about in their classrooms and teachers yelling about uniform. You'll pack your bags, walk out of your class and say your goodbyes like any other day. For all you know, it's a normal damn day. Then suddenly stuff hits the fan. You see it out of the corner of your eye. A loving clown. A loving chainsaw wielding, spit dribbling clown. You'll be in shock. EGADS! That clown kills somebody. Run home little boy, and so you do.

You go to school the next day. There he is again. That loving clown is now sitting next to you in class. And every hour he takes somebody out. One by loving one. Your friends. Your enemies. That really cute girl who once gave you a massive erection. Hour after hour, day after day, this guy sits next to you, waiting for the moment to strike. Every time he does, nobody cares. Nobody bats an eyelid. He does whatever he wants, whenever he wants. And one day he's going to get you too.

Do you see what happens when we don't have rules, forgeter? Society breaks down. Soon enough we'll have loving psycho clowns burning the very foundations of our livelihoods! And you would dare support those who in turn support this behaviour? Are you forgeted in the head? Are you a special boy who doesn't get it? Get the fact that rules exist for a reason?

I hope that forgetin' clown does get you. Society needs less people like you. starfish.

At my Primary School we had to sing the national anthem once a week, depending on the type of assembly we had; if it was a simple outdoor-court one we didn't bother but if it was the full-scale thing in the Church than we were singing all the verses of that forgeter. Incredibly, I've forgotten almost all of the anthem.

It's been a great 9 years of not having to ever sing it. It's absolutely pointless.

what's australia's food like
The weirdest thing we have is Kangaroo Jerky. Everything else is basic meat pies, simple burgers, sausage sandwiches and vegemite. Simple and flavourful. Nothing forgeted around with.
