couldn't you just pay with a credit card
I have a debit card; my pay schedules are unpredictable and I don't want to ruin my credit history this early.

I know one that doesn't cost any money. Spend the day with him.
But Harm, that would actually make sense and be a loving gift? I can't do that!

Why though? Do they not know what a cunt is or are they just batstuff crazy because they live in Australia?
Because in Australia, context > literal meaning, and people are very laid back. Also why we say "we call our mates cunts and cunts mates."

Since I can't get my hair coloured until we figure out why my friend has completely disappeared, I'm just sitting her trying to discover my own Ballmer Peak. I think about two cans of bourbon and coke seem to do it.

Why tomorrow? Fathers day is sunday?
I need money for the bus tomorrow, but it would be far more convenient to buy the present while I'm already out.

You're near baulko yeah? Travel a bit further west and you'll find plenty of  people who'll pay you for a blowie
Rather not have some leb cunt get my richard dirty.

Long story short; need to buy a Father's Day gift and pay for a bus-ride out to this meeting. I need quick cash.

Anybody got some suggestions? Selling my guitar hasn't worked so far and I'm not sure what else I have to sell.

Your forgetting that the AI in Ratchet and Clank is incredibly simplistic
lol.

and that there normally werent massive firefights between different races of enemies.
Every single one of the Ranger battles? The Aquatos mission where you have the flame-forgeters against the Amoeboids? I could have sworn that that there's multiple factions in at least one of the Qwark Vid-Comics.

As for challenge. Halo has difficulty settings that make the game MUCH harder whereas Ratchet & Clank doesn't.
Which is 150% better than difficulty levels. It's fine-tuned to ensure a very specific progression of skill and players will constantly be pushed towards mastering the game, which is why many other kids games don't offer difficulty levels. R&C3 has various skill-based minigames (the Hacker, Vid-Comics, skills points etc), whereas Halo 2 kind of has achievements but mostly is just a shorter, much more linear campaign.

If you know how to play ratchet and clank already then you can easily get through the games without a problem.
That's the point. Then you play Challenge Mode where they ramp up the difficulty but also introduce new rewards for the risk. Furthermore, Halo 2's difficulty is static once you choose, whereas Ratchet & Clank's has levels that go up/down depending on how you're progressing through the levels.

Don't forget your also comparing 2 entirely different types of games as well. I don't think either of them are particularly better since they are both different genres and depend entirely on your taste.
Firstly, that argument is always an irrelevant one whenever it's used; you can compare anything so long as they have similar features. Secondly; both games are shooters. Ratchet & Clank 3 was marketed as a platformer so that they would stand out because there were so many shooters being made, and yet there weren't a lot of good platformers. The fact remains that R&C3, with their Battlefields and the reduction of platforming puzzles became a shooter.

yes but it would be better to play it on a console
Not necessarily for any game. Unless a game's port is known for being bullstuff, the PC will give you better performance and generally allow for higher visuals (and generally get updated faster and more often). If you have controller and a USB cable, then PC is the way to go.

Case-in-Point: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. Amazing game. Works great on Xbox, but the PC version has the huge recent update, achievements, TSLRCM and all other mods which now have workshop support, supports both Xbox and PS controllers etc.

I'm sure Ratchet would be an exception because the programmers had to use a lot of really awesome and shifty tactics exclusive to the PS2 hardware in order to do the awesome things they did.

Neat, how did you make this? its pretty cool
The Steam Grid icons are 460x215, and so that's unofficially become a standard for game icons. Just go into Google Image Search, set the Size filter to exactly 460x215 and search for games you like. Then in Photoshop or whatever editor you use, paste the images into a large blank document and get them lined up with however you like.

Some games, like Daxter (PSP) and Heavy Rain (PS3) don't have them, so you should try to find either a larger image and scale it down, or get an image of the game's logo and resize it to fit within a blank 460x215 square and then add a background colour (maybe add a character if you want to be fancy).

i never knew 12 people on the forums had hands with 18 fingers
You may not be prepared to understand this, but amazingly the control scheme layout for the PS2 and the control scheme layout for the XBOX are exactly the same. Even when you change the position of the left brown townogue stick, you're still using exactly the same fingers.

I'd actually argue that it's more convenient to have the D-Pad above the stick instead of below it, since in PS2 titles the D-Pad was mostly still being used as an alternative to the stick (hence the whole brown townOG button) you need far more access to the movement stick than the movement buttons. It also meant I could use one hand to control both sticks if I needed to quickly grab something else or punch my brother in the face for being a forgetwit.

The PS2 can't run Xbox exclusive games
And therefore the PS2 is not better than the Xbox in every single way
JSRF is on the PC, Halo 2 is on the PC, and BLINX isn't notable. Please list some Xbox exclusives actually worth buying the console over, because it sure as hell seems like the good parts of the library were multi-platform anyway.

A game where you have to get something from Point-A to Point-B using a series of mechanical puzzle elements, with poor 3D and developed with the budget of a Ham Sandwich.

I think I remember this game.
