"software whose usefulness is reduced because of the excessive disk space and memory it requires."
a program you're going to use probably once when you first get the keyboard and then maybe once a year at minimum after that is not worth any disk space to begin with.

"unwanted software included on a new computer or mobile device by the manufacturer."
i still don't see why you'd want a full program to be installed before your keyboard works properly, and then only use it once. razer forced me to install their stupid synapse program for my headphones and it's annoying as forget.

software to set your keyboard's lights/macros/whatever is not bloatware any more than overclocking software is
overclocking can offer a benefit that you'll notice daily. having alienware meme keyboard killer software does not.

the ducky shine 4 isn't an RGB keyboard. there's only a dozen of combinations for the red/blue lights, and the lighting options are relatively minimal as well. OP doesn't want too many "bells and whistles" with what he's getting.

I watched the video, and that is a very convoluted way to change the color of the keys. that might be nice as a backup option or something but the fact that there is no such software period is definitely a downside
bloatware is not a positive
